「It's a well maintained property and very pretty in a beautiful setting. So convenient to visit the castle as it's a short walk between the two. Plenty of restaurants within short walking distance. Easy to get public transportation to and from Cork.
The room was fine in terms of amenities and layout. The room was hot with beds as hard as stones as all hotel rooms seem to be in Ireland.

「Mixed experience. Staff were great and overall property was fine. Location good. However water and coffee/milk/sugar in our room on arrival wasn’t replenished during our 3 night stay. Rooms are on the small side. The biggest issue we had is that we couldn’t get back into the room on our last night as somehow the security latch managed to activate itself, which should be impossible. Staff were great dealing with the issue but had to use hammer and chisel to obtain access, took about 30 mins....

「It’s not a hotel, it’s student housing. The staff was very friendly, but gives dorm room vibes. Wasn’t a terrible stay, but would choose differently if we came to cork again. No parking so plan on spending around 40 euro a day on the nearest car park.」
