Check in process was awful. We stood outside the room for the code to get in. Apparently big fish rentals sends an email that requests numerous items to be sent before check, which all went to my spam.
The floors felt dirty/sandy upon check in.
Microwave door doesn’t open all the way bc it’s against a wall.
There were wet dishes in the cabinet.
Not enough blankets and pillows for 6 people.
The owner texted asking if maintenance could drop off a pillow. We were in the unit so I accepted. My husband opened the door and the maintenance man was sitting on the hallway floor. He said, “I am here to fix a clog and have a pillow for you.” My husband said, “what clog, there is no clog.” So he declined that service as we were not made aware of any clog. So my husband offered to take the pillow and the maintenance said he needed to come inside to “install it.”
I don’t know how one INSTALLS a pillow so we said nevermind the pillow. We later learned that the bathroom sink was clogged.
There was a spill of something in the refrigerator that I didn’t notice until later in the week, something splattered on the wall that we didn’t notice, and when I was cleaning up prior to check out I found trash they certainly didn’t come from us.
There was never any coffee in the lobby- said it was available until 10a. We were there at 8:30 and again at 9:15 on two separate days and no coffee. And no one around to refill it.
