This place is very outdated, but clean. We planned to cook our meals for the week so we booked the room with a kitchen. The stove did not work, so someone came to fix it but ended up not being able. They switched us to a nicer very updated room which was nice. Very accommodating, friendly staff.

Everything was great. My only complaint was the noise. I enjoy listening to the sound of the waves at night but someone was playing music so loud most of the night I had to close the doors.

Had to clean the room when we got there, smoked smell was horrible when we asked for towels or rags we were told they had none/ being washed, light switch turns TV on and off, did not work for light thats probably a wiring issue. Staff was arguing outside, phone did not work hot tub was not open at all and pool was nasty. The parking is absolutely horrible. Just over all horrible would not suggest this place to nobody. Most staff was rude. Will not stay again

What’s the need of saying you have a kitchen with no kind of utensils to prepare your food with, no pots/pans no dishes, cups, or silverware. The hot tubs and lazy pool had no tubes and were not working and the rooms had roaches. Will not be staying again.

We were only a couple minutes from the beach which is a plus the only downfall was that I got a studio and I wanted to cook breakfast every morning but they did not have any utensils or pots and pans.

TAKE THIS REVIEW SERIOUSLY!! When we arrived the room was very outdated with a peeling leather couch and ottoman. We were given no trash can. There is a kitchenette but they offer no cooking equipment of any kind. The refrigerator did not work, when the new one was replaced they left behind all kinds of dirt/old food from under the previous fridge. The room key deactivated daily and we had to continuously go to the lobby to get it fixed. The elevators were constantly breaking down. The staff was very unpleasant to deal with and I was denied access to a manger for 4 days of our stay. Once speaking with the manger she did make things right but I would HIGHLY recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

All hot tubs (3) broken, front desk dishonest- lied about calling me. Pools- dirty. No tubes for lazy river; no food at hotel, peeling paint on ceiling, hole in wall by door, no pots or pans for kitchenette. Great refrigerator! Great bed and view of beach

The outdoor amenities were fine minus the lazy river (filthy, ex cigarette butts floating while my kids were in it. They got out & never went back after that) & the hot tubs were all broken the entire time we were there. The staff was not helpful & seemed like they hated their job. The management was much more pleasant. The key cards for the doors NEVER worked. Room service was non existent. The whole room was very dated & did not look anything like the pictures on this site. The kitchenette that was advertised, TERRIBLE! Zero pots, pans, silverware.. nothing to cook with! No cups, plates. The toaster was scary looking to even use or even plug in. The elevators were slow or not working. We got stuck multiple times. We will not be coming back to the Sandcastle.

The property was terrible, nasty, water leaks from the toilet, water leaks from kitchen sink water running all in the floor had to put the towel down, no air conditioner and toilet stopping up had to clean your own room no housekeeping willing to do it that place needs to be towed down and rebuilt I do not see how they pass inspection with the State health department
