“This was my first time staying at a hotel in obx we alway rent a house but this time I wanted to do something different and the hotel didn’t disappoint. The breakfast, front desk & cleaning staff were amazing. The hotel was super clean. The hotel is also very aesthetically pleasing. I would stay here again. ”

“We had a great stay at the Shutters hotel. The check in went smooth, the room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, clean, and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was excellent, with bacon, eggs, and waffles! Great location too. ”

“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we……
