This 6 bedroom 6 bathroom oceanfront home is perfect for those who are eager to get their toes in the sand and play in the waves. Located in South Nags Head, you're a short drive away from shopping, dining, and historical attractions like the Lost Colony in Manteo or the Bodie Island lighthouse near Hatteras! Sandcastle features a private pool and hot tub for when you're all beached out. A recreation room featuring a flat screen television and a foosball table is perfect for some downtime and for a little friendly competition. Sandcastle was recently featured on an episode of HGTV's Beach Hunters!

Pets Welcome - fee applies. Pool available seasonally. Gas Fireplace is not for guest use.

Great property...minor issues

Comfortable home, lots of living space for a large group of people. 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms create great comfort for 12 people. Beautiful ocean location with wildlife, beach and sunrise. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and good additions to the vacation experience. Well appointed kitchen(s) and outside gas grill. Lots of outdoor seating provided. Warnings for future guests: -Safety concerns with raised nail heads in older decking -Broken ceramic tile at entry way -Overall cleanliness was lacking, house not properly cleaned prior to stay -All promised linens were not provided initially however they were provided upon request -Although electricity was not working in part of the house upon arrival management sent an electrician immediately -A few cockroaches were found in the kitchens -Missing some lightbulbs and broken blinds but they were also fixed within a couple of days of arrival -Be prepared to bring additional paper products as well as trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dish rags, laundry detergent, beach/pool towels and any/all toiletries Overall would gladly stay again.

Spring break with 3 families

Our three families had the best time staying at sandcastle. Had to figure out the linens which were provided but located outside under house. The kitchen was well stocked. Minor fixes could be made but it is a rental so overall we were very pleased and if we were ever to go back it’s a perfect house for many! Would have loved the pool and the hot tub needed cleaning but kids liked it anyway!! Thank you!!

Nice Location, Property needs maintenance

Overall nice location and beachfront. Close enough to shopping/dining but feels a little remote which was nice. The house needs a lot of general maintenance and updates. The deck boards are in bad shape everywhere and the upper deck shakes and squeaks when you walk on it. The house wasn't as clean as I expect. The furniture is stained, the floors are worn out and overall the property is dated. I am glad we rented during off season pricing.
