Moon Rider offers the original, classic Nags Head Cottage life. This newly renovated cottage with the covered decks and screened porch are just waiting for you to grab your favorite beverage and book and leave all your cares behind. Imagine just sitting there smelling the salty air and listening to the ocean waves. Your private walkway to the beautiful Atlantic ocean lets you spend your days relaxing in the sun, searching for shells and seaglass, swimming, surfing or taking a stroll on the beach. Comfy and cozy with 3 bedrooms one of them a master and a loft with a game room with a foosball table.
Located in South Nags Head with walking paths and close to Oregon Inlet and the Bodie Island Lighthouse, you're also near many wonderful local restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. Nags Head Fishing Pier is close by where you can fish or enjoy Fishheads a fun local restaurant on the pier.

Great location on the beach
A very nice comfortable house right on the beach! The house was just right for two couples, and overall was great. I will mention a few negatives, the main one being that the steps to the lower level for accessing the outdoor shower and foot washing were buried deep in sand, and there was no shovel for clearing them. Also, they didn't supply enough dishwasher detergent to get through a week. And, only one kitchen towel. Would definitely stay there again, overall it was a great house to stay in.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location!
The house was great! It covered ours needs and then some. Literally steps to the beach and the view was incredible. Deck space was great provided a little shade if you were hot and the upper deck was all sun, again with a terrific view of the beach and the ocean. If you haven't booked right on the beach, I highly recommend it! It is hard to go after you do. This house came as advertised and the pictures don't do it justice. I will definitely look to book it again.

House was everything that it said it was. Ideal location, just steps from the beach. unfortunately the weather was not ideal, but we made the beast of it.

Exactly what I wanted!
This beach cottage was exactly what I was looking for and exactly as advertised. Don’t know how you get any closer to the water.. and still feel cozy on the inside. Breathtaking sunrises.. and just enough room for three of us to work a little and enjoy each others company a lot! Definitely will book again.
