Location was fantastic. The size of the house, number of rooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group as well. The open kitchen/living/dining room was a bonus that allowed us all to spend more time together while eating and making food.

We enjoyed the house, there was enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. The pool and hot tub were awesome, also glad we paid for heat in the pool. Ideally it would be good to have an umbrella in the pool area to help with a shade. Also there were several spiders indoors, it may be time for pest control to spray. And probably time for carpet cleaning, there were some odors in some of the rooms. Overall had an awesome time and made wonderful memories.

Great Beach house for a HUGE crew!

The house was perfect for all the kids and different families! We enjoyed every inch of this 3 story house! The pool was perfect, paid to have it heated and it worked once we were there for the night. The hot tub was nice! Kitchen was pretty well stocked, bathrooms pretty much in every room. The added ice machine downstairs was perfect for the coolers! Couldn’t ask for more!!

Cleanliness

I don't like to post a bad review however when we got there their were empty beer cans in the bedroom closet, the bedrooms had food and tags from new clothes on the floors. The one bathroom had human fecies on the floor. I called the cleaning people they did send someone out the next day however I own my own VRBO and I would be appalled if I knew my cleaning crew left the home this way for someone to rent. The ceilings had mold on them, in the ice machine in the downstairs had mold in there. When I asked the cleaning crew she said that's just how this all is. It's a shame because it was a beautiful home at one point but it is poorly taken care of.

Looks Beautiful, really just a party house.

Photos make it look beautiful and perfect. However, reality is that this is a dirty, unkept and terribly uncared for party house. Will not be coming back. Positive note: the location was excellent and the beach tent and chairs being set-up/taken down everyday was a nice touch.

Many Issues and No communication from Owner

We were VERY disappointed to find many issues with this house. The ice maker and water dispenser in the fridge did not work. The dishwasher does not dry the dishes. The large tables need to be resurfaced. They are very sticky and can not be cleaned. The path to the beach is difficult to navigate and would be impossible for someone with disabilities. The house has roaches and needs to be treated by pest control. There are unfinished repairs on some of the walls. All decks had loose boards and railings and move quite a bit when in use. The boards caused splinters and the disengaging nails were a tripping hazard. Maintenance did bolt down a few of the boards but often when the wind would blow we would see railings swinging. The deck around the pool is also very weathered and needs to be replaced. Worst of all, there was a missing ceiling in one of the bathrooms with a very strong mildew smell. The room was unusable for the duration of our stay, causing one family member to cancel their trip. They did have a drywall crew come in and do the water remediation and replace the walls and ceiling. This took several days to start and to complete. The concierge service on the beach was wonderful. We made sure to tip our guy because he was the real MVP of the week. Aside from the structural, pest control, and cleanliness issues; the view was amazing, the proximity to the beach was good and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe.

OK but would look elsewhere

The cleaning that needs to be done does not apply to the cleaning service. The carpets need to be shampooed or replaced, they are grimy. Wood framing around bathroom window needs to be repaired or replaced. Blinds/curtains absolute necessity in a couple bathrooms. Spray for roaches!!

Just Book It!

This location is absolutely beautiful! The house is so spacious you have your privacy while still being able to enjoy the company of everyone you traveled with when you want. The services were such a nice treat (pool/hot tub service, cabana and beach chair set up) these little things were the icing on the cake. Don’t sweat the small stuff, keep in mind this is a rental on the beach and just enjoy!

Won't stay there again.

The property was dirty and everything was broken. The refrigerator, television, bed frame, dresser, sauna, and deck were all broken. It was dangerous for the little ones on the decks because the railings were loose in several places. This was especially scary when a toddler wants you to chase after them. The tv in the bunk bed room had a big crack down the screen and it wouldn't turn on. That was the biggest inconvenience, because on vacation we let our kids watch a little tv before turning the lights out. The house was not thoroughly been cleaned prior to our arrival. One of the beds didn't have adequate bedding in the upstairs bedroom. We requested (and paid for) the pool heater be turned on and when the pool cleaner came mid-week, he informed us that the pool heater wasn't on when we asked why the heater wasn't working. They did refund us for that fee at least. Good thing we had good company or we wouldn't have lasted the week!

Vacation

Loved the location and property. There many things: broken refrigerator and one of the TVs that was not working. This issues were shared and staff member was sent to make sure they were broken; however, they were never fixed during our stay. The previous guests left litter and pool/beach toys around the outside of the property that wasn’t cleaned up before our arrival.

House Review

The master bathroom on the upper level that faces the beach did not have a shade on the window so the next store house could see right in when getting out of the shower or going to the bathroom. The pool pump broke and we called in the morning and it took them 24 hours to send someone out to fix it so we did not have a hot pool for 2 days. The house could have used some things like a couple of spices (salt and even pepper), board games not just poker, more coasters for glasses, table for upper deck, Also hooks in the bathrooms would be great to hang bathrobe for after the shower.

Overall, we had a great vacation.

Property location on the beach was beautiful! We did have an excellent vacation but unfortunately had a hard time Overcoming a few issues with this property. The pool and hottub were not cleaned and although our kids were determined to use them, by day 3 we had to tell them no because the pool was neon green and all kids needed up with a hottub folliculitis rash. These were two big reasons we rented this property. Also, the house had several cleanliness issues and we killed many cockroaches during our stay. I really feel that with some minor updates and better cleaning, this would be an amazing rental. Unfortunately, we did not have that experience.

Mini Vacation in December

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house were huge and could accommodate everyone who were invited. We came together for a mini break from Covid-19 and to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The rooms were huge and we had lots of space. This house give us a chance to relax. It's really close to the outlets and grocery stores, so we were really happy about that. They offer all kitchen items and including an outside grill. We did take advantage of that option as well. We never felt like we were all closed in. Most of our guest spent some night downstairs playing pool. That were lots of fun. Some guest did have a couple of concerns in which I did email the property manager just as an fyi. We all decided that this rental could be a possible option this summer. Thank you again for all your service and hope to visit your home soon.

Recent stay

Location of the house was great and room setup was exactly what we needed. The house itself needs some updating and was not very clean upon our arrival. They did sent out their cleaning service to come back through the house and the woman was very polite and did a good job re-cleaning the house and provided all new linens.

Our Stay at the Sundancer, August 11-15

Everything about the property and our stay was great, with the exception of our check in on the first day. Why, if the property is ready, will you not allow early check-in within reason. Hotels do that. We arrived at 3pm, and sat outside in the parking lot until the official time of 4 pm. Otherwise, everything was great. Keith Klindworth

Amazing Views

The house has an amazing view!! There’s a lot of stuff that needs to be updated including the porch (it’s a little sketchy in some spots) carpet, the pool, windows some of them had duct tape around them. There was a bunch of little things that were broken. It wasn’t cleaned very well there were cigar butts and cigarette butts left over from the last people as well as trash. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t pick this house again. Also there’s tons of sticker briers along the pier to walk out to the beach so be mindful of those. We had 4 kids 2 and under and a couple of them got stuck a few times. I emailed Kees about everything and they said they would put in work orders for everything. Overall we enjoyed the beach being so close. I would rent from Kees again because they’re very responsive....just wouldn’t pick this house.
