Nashville Condo

Property was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, this was advertised as walkable to downtown, however the surrounding area is not safe for walking. There is a large homeless population and what appeared to be a halfway house very close to the property that caused us to spend as much as 25 on a .5 mile Uber ride for safety.In addition the windows of the condo face a very busy train track that was active and loud all night long. Make sure to pack ear plugs if you choose to stay here. The property overall was nice and the employees at the condo were very pleasant and helpful. There is a nice Irish pub across the street from the property as well. I would not stay here again simply based off walkability safety and the loud train tracts.

Very enjoyable stay. Condo was comfortable and clean. Pool atmosphere was friendly and lots of fun! Able to walk to Broadway everyday. Secure building- a little trouble figuring out the app, but with help it was easy!

Poor customer sevice.

Upon check in, we discovered that we had not received an invite for the latch entry system. Neither Hyve nor Latch were able to help us, and Vacasa refused to resolve this issue. Finally, on the 3rd day of our stay, another guest on the property emailed us the link for Latch. If you decide to stay here, make sure and bring ear plugs as this unit directly overlooks 2 train tracks on a very busy railway, starting early in the morning and going all day. Also worth mentioning is that there is a high homeless population a block away from this property and there is a rescue mission also just a block away. If Vacasa wouldve tried to resolve my Latch entry issue, I would not have complained at all.

The space is wonderful, the area it’s in is a bit sketchy

Although downtown is very close by and walkable, I would recommend ubering whenever you can. The surrounding area is located by the homeless shelter, so it does get a little sketchy, especially at night. I wouldn’t recommend walking ~anywhere~, even if it’s close. On a positive note, the room was very nice, clean, and had many toiletries and appliances. They also had a nice gym. I wished communication with the host was better, but the staff at Hyve was very helpful.

The owner and the receptionist of the Hyve are great

Our check in process with Vacasa was terrible. We were never sent the link to set up the app when I texted and asked if we needed to set up an app or just use the link I was told just the link. Once we arrived none of the codes worked. Lawrence, who works for the Hyve not Vacasa was a huge help, she tried to contact customer service at Vacasa but they proved to be useless. She contacted the GM for Vacasa in the area and they never answered or called back. Finally after an hour of back and forth we received and email to set up the app but all check in times were changed to 6:45 pm instead of the 4 pm. Lawrence reached out to the actual owner and he acted quickly to right the wrong. He gave us access to the building informed us to contact him should we have any future issues. The place was clean and had a nice location for us to scooter around or even walk however, the room sits right next to the train track which wouldn’t be a probably except the train literally runs all night long.
