Nice property but everything is a charge and way over-priced. It’s nearly impossible to get a decent lounge chair unless you reserve, for a hefty fee, way in advance. The restaurants are good but in general extremely expensive. It was very hard to grab even an inexpensive, easy lunch. Do not get a west tower room as those rooms are close to the sls sky bar that blares dance music until late at night. Our first night the music was going at 1am. We moved to the east tower the next day. Much quieter. Much of the staff was borderline rude. However the servers in the Baha beach club were great esp Tremond. The beach club is great but you must reserve any chair for a fee. The other pools have non-reserve chairs but those go very quick and are sub prime relative to the reserved-fee chairs. This is identical at every pool. For the price point of this property, we were a bit disappointed. That all stated the grounds, pools, beach and pools are very nice.

Restaurants Katsuya , Leola , Cleo, Marcus and Carna had excellent food and exceptional service. Unfortunately,Sugar Factory and 25 North had terrible service and food. Rooms used to have a fully stocked bar fridge and bottled water. Now they don’t and only have refillable water bottles to fill to fill with tap water that doesn’t taste good. The rooms were cleaned for the first few days and then were not. We’ve stayed at this resort many times but it seems that some areas have declined. Not sure if we would go back .

Very disappointing experience, especially considering we paid about $4,000 for three nights. There were four of us in the room and the hotel initially provided only one robe. We had to call three separate times before they finally brought two more, and then call again to receive the fourth robe. On the second day, housekeeping removed all four robes from the room and it took nearly two hours for replacements to arrive. On top of that, a white linen shirt and pants worth about $600 disappeared after cleaning. Service throughout the hotel was extremely slow. When you get a seat by the pool, no one brings towels. You have to hunt someone down or go find them yourself. Guests also behaved oddly. Several times we took seats by the beach and left our belongings there while we went for a swim, and random guests would simply move our things. This happened almost every day. There were also very few healthy options available for kids during the day. No fresh smoothies, no fresh juices, mostly just sugary drinks. Food across most restaurants was mediocre at best. Housekeeping was inconsistent as well. The first time they cleaned the room, they didn’t replace the coffee we had used and we had to go ask for it ourselves. Finally, the navigation around the hotel is confusing. You end up spending a lot of time walking around trying to find where you’re actually going. Overall, the experience did not match the price or the expectations for a hotel in this category.

The property was really beautiful, updated, and clean. Had everything we needed. I was however put off by the condition of the bathroom. We had a standard room and the bathtub situation was a wreck. A bathtub that was 2 feet tall with a glass shower door. You had to literally bring knees to chest to step into the shower. Then the door leaked all over the bathroom floor when opened. Just a mess. Cleaning service did not clean on schedule, a couple days they came by at 7:00pm to see if we wanted service, it was too late in the day

Everything about this place was great. I took a star off because it wasn’t the ideal place for us. The casino is very central to the resort and is hard to avoid. If you’re not into gambling, it’s just annoying/sensory overload. We figured out a way to exit the building a floor above and take some stairs to the pools and beach. That made the stay a lot more enjoyable, but still we had to walk through the casino to go to the restaurants and shops. There are not many businesses outside the resort, so for food, you’re pretty much stuck with the resort’s restaurants, which are good but pricey. For example, one night at one of the more affordable restaurants, we got fish and chips and a mussels appetizer (as a main), no drinks, and the bill was about $100. Drinks are $20 each. There’s a liquor store and a small market near the entrance to the water park. I got a bottle of rum and some cans of juice and make my own drinks in the room. There’s also a great daiquiri place in that same area. Still not exactly cheap but the quality of the drinks is phenomenal. Overall, I’d say I’m not really a resort person. I liked walking to the little market and seeing locals NOT working in uniforms. We even took the jitney into town one day and that was an interesting experience.

Nice property, however it’s terrible value for money. On top of very high room rate, you pay a daily resort fee of $83.60 and daily service charge of $21.78 for basically cleaning your hotel room - never seen a hotel that charges for regular room cleaning. Front desk staff is far from customer centric, but we have seen some great customer service in restaurants, particularly the Madeline Cafe. It’s a beautiful property, but one that is designed to take maximum financial advantage if you, really expensive food and drink prices, built in service charges for everything and in asking for TIP on top. Don’t get me wrong, the property is stunning but the food is extremely overpriced and very subpar. The chicken at certain restaurants were very processed chicken for the price. Three days was more than enough.

Our room was overlooking the pickleball courts and while not the ocean it was still a nice view and a great room. The whole property was very clean and I was impressed with how clean the pools were. I loved that they give you a water bottle and have fill up stations throughout. Staff were beyond kind.
