“was told that there is no heat. we definitely tested that theory - weather outside in 20's, but totally warm inside. place was very close to everything, and so much cleaner that the last one we rented in Linville. p.s. oven could use a 'little touchup'”

“The location was great, size was perfect, everything I could expect and more. The view was amazing. Bed slept well for my back issues. Had plenty of hot water when needed. Parking was at the front door so didn’t have to haul luggage very far. Neighbor was very friendly and informative about the area. Realtor answered all questions prior to arrival. I would definitely stay here again and have suggested this to others who may want to vacation in the Crossnore area.”

“Check in process was easy and the property looked even nicer than the photos! The fire pit was a big hit. Everything we needed was there. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of comfy seating for 7 in front of the cozy fire as well as the big farm table for dining. We enjoyed stargazing from the deck even though it was a bit chilly. We enjoyed exploring Chimney Rock, Triple Falls, and Hendersonville. Kathleen was very helpful. “We loved this property! It was very new - didn't have that "lived in" feeling at all and no obvious wear and tear on any appliances, furnishings, or kitchen tools. And very clean!! The house had most everything you could want...and great views. We had 2 small kids with us who really enjoyed the vanishing steps to the lake. “We enjoyed the place -- it is well set up for a mountain stay. Wood is indeed beautiful. Kitchen is great. Appreciated the various apps on the TV. Great location, very quiet except for the nearby construction. We would recommend you not go in cool -- or most definitely cold -- months. The place doesn't have central heat, which is fine, but the heaters it does have are simply not sufficient to keep the house warm. Not pleasant to come home to. “This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend.”
