「Lively, friendly pub with rooms around the corner from the main High St. Clean and tidy rooms. Good value. Limited parking when busy. As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive.

「Very small car park and was a problem on arrival , no spaces .
Is sorted by staff but does seem a constant problem.

「I was visiting for one night with my son, as pert of a visit to the nearby motor museum and couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. Menu was a bit different, service was excellent, room was perfect and the breakfast was just right. 」

「Had a great stay at the Angel and Blue Pig! The room was spotlessly clean and right by the street, which worked well for me. The staff were genuinely welcoming, really friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was excellent.
What I loved most was the cozy communal area with a beautiful fireplace. And if you're driving, they've got proper parking on-site, which is always a bonus in these historic towns.
