Berry Hill Lake is a mountain getaway featuring a new, modern-rustic 4 bedroom/3.5 bath home overlooking a private, 2-acre lake and surrounded by 250 acres of beautiful wooded mountain land. The house features traditional board and batten siding, original stonework, hardwood floors throughout and two fireplaces, an indoor gas fire place and an outdoor wood burning fireplace. The upstairs bedroom features a king bed, 60” flat screen TV, DVD player, private bathroom with double sink, and tiled shower. The main floor bedroom features a queen bed, 60” flat screen TV, DVD player, private bathroom with double sink and tiled shower. The basement is finished with two bunk rooms with two bunk beds in each room (8 total beds), a bathroom with tiled shower and a movie room featuring a 70” flat screen TV and DVD player. The basement also includes a 1/2 kitchen with a mini-refrigerator and washer/dryer. for guests use. All of our guests are supplied with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and trash bags.

Berry Hill Lake also features a state-of-the-art 20' ModPool. The pool overlooks the lake and is a pool/hot tub combination with a unique, see-through-window from the deep end. Hot tub is seasonal and will not be in operation from June through September. The pool is complimented by a large deck and pergola for shade and features a custom stone patio for sunbathing.

Other amenities on the property include paddle boats, kayaks, fishing and miles of walking trails. We are less than 30 minutes from the entrance to Wintergreen Resort- a beautiful resort offering skiing, snowboarding, a Zip Line, archery, summer tubing, mountain biking and hiking to name a few.

A short drive away are many local breweries, wineries and distilleries, including Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyard, Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery, Veritas Vineyards and Winery, Devils Back Bone, Wild Wolf Brewery, Silverback Distillery and Bold Rock Hard Cider. Also located close by is a grocery store, convenience stores, ABC store, Dollar General and restaurants. We are in close proximity to many other area attractions since we are only 32 miles from Charlottesville, 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 miles from Shenandoah National Park, and an hour to Crabtree Falls.

For larger groups or families needing extra room, we offer a bunkhouse just a short walk through the yard from the main house. With six beds and a full bathroom, it's the perfect addition to your stay, providing extra beds with easy access to our property's amenities. The bunk house is available for an additional fee and ONLY rented to guests staying at the main house. To request the bunkhouse during your stay, you must send an inquiry that includes the bunkhouse and when your booking is confirmed, you will be charged separately for the bunkhouse through the VRBO portal. Cost per night for the bunkhouse is $250 + 1-time $50 cleaning fee.
