“I emailed concerning if there was a place to plug in my car bc the dates we traveled weather was -33. No one replied. We showed up to check in at 3:45 & was prompting told it was not ready and to come back - absolutely NO apology. We drove 12 hours btw to get there and we’re exhausted. Advertises FOUR car parking in driveway with street parking for our unit - note: it is NOT four car parking - I squeezed my car in; the other driver had to street park because the basement tenant was in the……

“Loved the location, nice view of the great Alaskan outdoors. The provision of small battery candles added to atmosphere and were perfect lighting for watching for the Northern lights. Close to activities and points of interest around of Fairbanks and reasonable drive for a day at Chene Hot springs. Great selection of healthy tea and organic coffee for a hot drink on a cold day. Wonderful vacation, we would go back next weekend if the flight from PA was not so long! ”

“Although close to town, this could be a bad spot without at least an all wheel drive. Even though uphill from the river, there were flood warnings for the neighborhood and some of the area coming in had water a foot deep. The weather alerts said it could get deeper which was kind of unnerving. The internet and in turn the tv service was very spotty although this was a big deal for us but streaming was difficult and would cut off. The kitchen amenities were okay but we planned on cooking in……

“While the surrounding properties were typical in Fairbanks, the accommodations at North Star were great. The owners were attentive, reaching out throughout my stay, to make sure all was well. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully designed. The king size bed was so welcoming and comfortable as well…I would book this bnb again, simply for the great night’s sleep. TY North Star😊”
