“We were passing thru and needed somewhere to stay for the night. It had a funny smell, the kind that clings to your clothes. I did not have the breakfast, my husband did. It was just okay, nothing to get excited about. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night, this is your place. I would not stay more than one night.”

“Check in time was 4pm. Asked several times if room was ready. Finally at 445 got in room. Stayed in dog friendly room. Room was nice but floor had dog hair from previous pet. Our yorkie doesn't shed, so hair was not hers. Mentioned to front desk so we wouldn't be charged for extra cleaning. Overall nice, clean hotel and casino. Nice restaurant.”

“The staff was unwilling to let me cancel my reservation the day of my reservation because I had a funeral come up. I hadn’t checked I yet. They refused to work with me or help even given the circumstances. They charged me for the full 2 nights. They wouldn’t even give me a cancellation fee. I found them rude and uncaring.”

“Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend.”

“Perfect location. We could Walk the Katy trail to the farmers market and restaurants. The hotel bar was quaint and had wonderful crafted drinks. The dining room and food were fresh and delicious. Our room overlooked the river , but was somewhat noisy due to the cooling system located above us on the roof. Overall this hotel was nostalgic and a delight to stay at.”

“Trickle shower, No pressure, dirty shower floor, Water ran right out on the bathroom floor because of no lip on the shower. Bed was about 2 foot high. Couldn't hardly crawl out of bed Never go back”
