“That was genuinely the coolest house I’ve ever stayed in! We had so much fun on our girls trip. The bedrooms were super clean and nice. The bathrooms were to DIE for! A perfect little getaway for the four of us. Definitely want to stay there again! The most CHARMING (and with good HVAC) historic home!”

“Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. ”

“Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. Again, very cool house but just think……

“Good communication from host. We stayed at this property while visiting family in the area. It was very comfortable for us. Both bedrooms have comfortable kind beds, one firmer than the other, which was perfect for us. Fenced back yard was handy for our dog to be able to go out. Dames park is just a few minutes away by car (less than 5) and we went there nearly every day to walk our dog. Our only suggestion would maybe be a more comfortable sofa. “Small farm town feel. Nice job renovating the location. If you’re looking at cooking or doing in the kitchen, they have everything you need there. Lighting in the bedroom throughout the night. It is pretty light with the street lights as there are no shades so if your used to sleeping in dark rooms that will not happen here. Very historic building we were not there very much other than to just sleep.”
