Great accommodations. Host was very helpful in navigating New Orleans. Very nice neighborhood with nice garden area for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine and coffee .

breakfast was nice; they had fresh bananas and warm croissants. anything else we wanted we could have got if we had asked. the hosts were very kind, easy to talk to (i find myself to be an awkward person) and very helpful. she recommended to us some cool places to eat and experience. her home is very nice, full of different pieces of art and just overall a beautiful sight to see.

Pleasant Place to Stay

A nice location just off Bayou St. John on the fringe of the Mid-City section of New Orleans. Quiet neighborhood, pretty apartment, safe street parking. Our hosts were friendly and personable. No hesitation about recommending this B & B to anyone visiting.

Wonderful Place!

Laura was a great host! I loved our own private entry and that our area had its own sun room. The breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet and private place.

This is a beautiful property with a private entrance and everything you need. It's in a fairly quiet location but close to bus and streetcar stops. The host is fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in the area!

Weekend getaway

Check in was super fast and easy. Room was very clean and had lots of teavel broshures and the host had made a list of peraonal recommendations that you could read at your leisure. We really enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend the Laurel. It was in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes from most of the attractions.

A charming bed and breakfast

My sister and I stayed here for three nights and were overjoyed at our space, and especially at the hospitality from Laura. This is a substantial home in an absolutely beautiful walk friendly neighborhood. We walked to Cedar Park two days in a row to enjoy the sculpture garden and the art museum. We walked daily in the neighborhood googling at all the different homes with their beautiful façades and gardens. Laura prepared a lovely continental breakfast for us each morning with French press, coffee, local croissants, and muffins, yogurt and fruit. That coffee was so good. I did yoga in the front courtyard in the afternoons and felt like I was at a fancy spa and resort. Two big thumbs up for this place.
