「Good Place to Stay.」

「Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy.」

「Close to downtown with amenities such as grocery stores, and restaurants close by. I would happily stay again.」

「There wasn't a kitchen as advertised, but rather a microwave. There were pans but no stove to cook on. I bought the ingredients to make a stir fry thinking there were cooking facilities but I had to microwave them instead. The actual apartment was nice, to give it credit, but this is about the only positive experience. The host gave check in instructions but then communication was non-existent. I tried phoning the number given and no answer, I tried messaging to ask about parking and no...

「Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.」

「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」

「Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists.」

「An excellent place to stay if walking the Hadrian's Wall Path. Clean and tidy good value for money. The Staff were all very friendly and polite. Very tasty breakfast.」
