“We stayed overnight as we drove along the coast in summer. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. Our hosts were marvellous. They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed having a chat with them in the evening and would happily recommend their beautiful place as a great place to stay.”

“Liz and Paul were very friendly and took all our requests and answered them quickly. Breakfast was out of this world. Room was very clean and plenty of sockets for all your things that needed charging, it was also very spacious. Liz was always there to answer any questions and Paul was always around but not seen very much as he was probably chained to the range dealing with all the breakfasts, but very pleasant when you did see him :-). We will definitely be returning. Many thanks for pleasant……

“Charmante "house" (maybe Heaven au lieu de Haven) tenu par des hôtes délicats et charmants. L'accueil a été très bon et ils nous ont proposé spontanément une place de parking. Les chambres sont petites mais très confortable et cocooning. La salle de bain est en longueur, mais elle fait le job, extrêmement propre. Pour le petit déjeuner, il était copieux, chaud, frais et encore une fois, nos hôtes ont été au petit soin. Nous avons eu l'occasion d'échanger avec eux avec plus que des bavardages.”

“Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay.”

“One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! I can’t remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to……

“From check in which was very straightforward to checkout which was exactly the same we had a fantastic 5 night break. Great communication from Will the owner made everything easy. Clean room with comfortable bed and bedding. Special mention for the breakfast which was spot on with some great local produce. Lovely outdoor seating area too. We'll definitely return. Thank you. ”
