“All in all excellent, ticked absoloutely all boxes for our requirements. Needed a "Staging Post" as early check out from holiday accomodation and very late flight time. On arrival reception staff very pleasant and helpful, in fact our room was ready for us earlier than normal time. Ground floor room, so no problems with heavy suitcases, very pleasant garden and clean pool with basic loungers and shade if required. “Vom ersten Augenblick an waren wir von der wunderschönen Villa Minea verzaubert: die großzügigen Außenanlagen, der Blick aufs Meer, die Schlafzimmer mit Bädern, Wohnräume - alles einfach traumhaft. Auch an sehr heißen Tagen konnten wir es in den klimatisierten Räumen, auf den Terrassen (von denen mindestens eine immer im Schatten lag) oder in dem herrlich großen Pool sehr gut aushalten. “Havre de paix dans un petit hameau niché sur une colline, très bien situé pour explorer l'ouest de la Crête. Demeure de charme où il fait bon vivre, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, dotée de plusieurs terrasses, une pour le matin, une pour le soir, une pour l'apéritif, une abritée en cas de pluie. “The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything. Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. That also means you have cobblestone streets which still require effort for even the smoothest luggage. The suite we were in was on the 3rd……

“Beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities great, hotel feel is laid back and luxurious but not fussy. Very clean and beautifully kept grounds. Location is great 30 minute walk to beautiful little town Panormo which has plenty restaurants, bars and a few shops. 30 minute drive into the city of Rethymno. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed base to explore Crete, we stayed for 1 week and felt we could have easily stayed another few days. ”
