「Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

「I never had an email to give me the key code, it said someone would be there to meet us to check in at 3pm but wasn't, I rang Padstow breaks who were so helpful and gave me the code and said we were definitely booked in and check in is 4pm and not 3 as expedia informed 」

「The house was very small but beautifully appointed. Parking at the top of a hill may cause problems for some but a slightly longer walk was much flatter and we took the car halfway down the hill to unload. All the rooms were decorated with love and both the living room and bedroom were very comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely too. The location was great, with pasties, beer and other treats on the doorstep. Highly recommend, so long as you’re okay with stairs.」

「A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list.」

「The house was lovely & really well equipped . We particularly liked the living room . It is suitable for all ages with a small garden . Contact with the owner was easy & he even sent me a text from New Zealand to say we could get in the house early ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would not hesitate to go back .」

「Stayed in wheel lodge for a short 4 night stay in the Summer school holidays. Accommodation just right as a base for x 2 people and our dog. Good facilities and everything you needed for a short stay. Comfy and clean - there were a fair few well established cobwebs in the bedroom and flies, but this is to be expected in a working farm. 「Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe. Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night. 「Quirky. Absolutely not like a standard hotel chain. We had the largest room we have ever had in a hotel but also the smallest toilet/shower which was a plastic pod. Very helpful staff and good value for money over all. Convenient for Tintagel. Spectacular sunset viewed with a good wine from the bar. Memorable. Excellent and helpful staff. If you are thinking about it I recommend that you should give it a go, but it is 'different' in a nice sort of way.」
