“We have stayed at Silver Tree and it’s absolutely wonderful! However on this visit, we booked with Expedia. We were not aware that the room we booked was 1 of 2 rooms not owned by Silver Tree. It was another 3rd party Vacation rental. So, beware, that if you book with Expedia, the hotel will not service or have anything to do with these rooms. It is all done through Taylor Made vacation’s. They only give you 1 key, no parking pass, and if you need any additional supplies for the room……

“The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience.”

“Cute place with updated furnishings and appliances, right across the street from Deep Creek Lake boat rentals, jet skis, restaurants and Lakeside Creamery. 15 minute drive to Swallow Falls and quick drive to any other activity offered.”

“Great little place in the country! We were in town for a WVU game and wanted a nice place to stay - great alternative to the hotels charging extremely high rates due to the game. Wish we had more time to spend and relax at the apt. Rooster on the property, so be ready for an early morning wake up call ;)”

“Our family had a great stay at Jamesons Cabin! Very clean, comfortable furniture and bedding, well stocked kitchen, beautiful fireplace, hot tub was clean and worked well, setting is beautiful. Host was very responsive to anything we needed! Overall great renting experience. ”

“We had a great stay at Will O Wisp. The staff was very attentive and helpful when we had questions. Our only little complaints would be that the sauna wasn’t working, after we asked several times when it would be fixed and it never was. Also, the pool hours are too short. At least we thought they were. However, we had a great trip. Definitely would come back to stay again”

“Was very roomy, wish had a cover over the hot tub to use it more. Pretty clean did have hair in drain in shower. The games that were provided were incomplete and a mess but had just two nights didn't have much time.”
