“I wanted to stay at an historic place and the Lafayette fit the bill. The property was nice and clean and in a great location. The rooftop seating was so nice to relax and watch the barges navigate the river. The free breakfast in the Gun Room was excellent and the bar had great food and good service. The only negative, and its not that big of a deal was the small bathroom. I would stay here again. ”

“This cabin is so neat and unique! Three cozy stories beautifully decorated (the pictures don't do it justice). When we arrived the home was warm and cozy, lights already on. I wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the fire pit more and the view of the woods out back. Lynn has thought of all your needs ...stocked with toiletries, first aid, hair dryer, etc. I would not advise it for anyone with issues climbing stairs....the home layout means lots of stair climbing needed.
