"They gave me a room in the middle building 3rd floor. As I was getting ready to go bed I saw out the corner of my eye a black spot moving towards me in bed. It was an insect ao I just swatted it, and when I looked a stain of blood on the bed sheet. I look closely, zoomed in with my phone. A bed bug filled with blood. I start looking throughout the sheets found more filled with bugs and a few ticks on the floor. Room 306 was infested. The staff was nice enough to give me a new room which was way cleaner the moment you step in the door. Be wary, there are 2 bars on each side of the resort so you won’t get any real sleep unless you are in the middle building. Overall, it is a good location to pass a night or two. Please, get pest control in room 306 ASAP."

"Hotel is about 1.5 hr from Miami , well situated on the main road .. check in was a breeze , property is well maintained, buffet breakfast was warm and ample but sitting in the dining room needs to be updated , hotel itself is an old Inn, so it was perfect for its seaside location , pool was nice temperature and its man-made beach was a jewel, surrounded by lush greenery .. really gave it an island vibe which is what I wanted .. the hotel hallways are carpeted and dark , Beware that their garden view rooms face the parking lot .. the sunsets are really magical .. the room was big as well as the bathroom , plenty of towels .. the bed on the other hand was very coily and uncomfortable, the pillows super thin and uncomfortable as well .. so it wasn’t a good resting mean for our sore bodies from a day in the sun swimming ( pool and beach) and shopping .. didn’t use the Tiki Bar for drinks but I saw many patrons lounging there ; the fact that there’s no restaurant on site is somewhat inconvenient because you are forced to got out to eat , but there’s plenty of restaurants around , we went to the “Big Chill” , nice restaurant on the water , food and drinks were good but pricey.. Will I stay there again ? YES !… just beware and be ready to be flexible , just the way one is when one travels to any Caribbean island.. so you get to experience the “Island vibe” in the USA.."

"I fridge in the room was very rusty and old, the microwave was not in good working condition as well. The tub in the shower was dingy, needs to be replaced. I advised the office of my concerns, was advised that they would tell maintenance. I will never stay at this hotel again. "
