Double Booking
I have no comment on this place because when I showed up I couldn't get into the room. When checking my phone I received a text, and phone calls sayin the room has been double booked and not to enter the room. So here it is 6:30PM and after traveling to Myrtle I have no place to stay. Host tried having VRBO send me places to stay. That was a bust since no place would take me in that day or the next day. So i was now out of a room for 2 days. No one from VRBO or host was helpful at all rectifying the matter. There option was stay in a hotel untl a room opens up in 2 days. I didnt drive to Myrtle to sit in a hotel and hoipe for the best. I took upon myself to find a room and area similar on AIR B&B and of course since it was last minute it cost me a lot more than my original price. I was told VRBO would compensate a $2000.00 cost for the matter, but have not seen anything from this. Then the host didn't refund me until I called and said you took my money not VRBO please refund me now for the room. Terrible experience and disappointed with the way it was handled by all parties.
