“We often do overnight stays in Sacramento and rent a VRBO property. This home was by far the best! It was perfect in every way and everything was so easy. I haven't slept as peacefully in years - there was absolutely not a sound at night and the dark full-length curtains blocked any light. The a/c was perfect. It just seemed like the whole experience was perfection!”

“I have been on VRBO for a long time. I booked the room for an overnight stay for a long trip. They advertised a queen bed and a charging set up for an EV. So, I booked it. The place is small, located in a less than desirable Sacramento neighborhood. I noticed the bed looked much smaller than a Queen, which was later confirmed by the host with a measuring tape. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, it had a bottom sheet and a thin blanket, no top sheet or comforter. The host had a table, in the……

“Booked this place for an annual conference at the convention center. Home was clean, cozy and stocked with all necessities. Hosts were great and check-in/out was seamless. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the neighborhood is a little rough and traveling as a solo woman the neighborhood got sketchy at times.”

“The listing says “Whitter Luxery Home” but we were very disappointed in the experience we had. Upon arrival on a 104 degree day, we discovered that air conditioning was off, and it was 84 degrees inside the house. We notified the host of this and that it was still 80 degrees inside at 10pm. The host verbally shrugged and said it’s fine OUTside. Apart from that, there were many small things that added up to anything but a luxury experience. The front and back yards were overgrown with weeds. The……
