"Our stay was fine but we had much higher expectations, especially being called Amish Inn. The property needs exterior attention and the rusting metal roof was an immediate red flag. Everything was pretty dated although it was clean. The staff was friendly but pretty sedate. One of the biggest disappointments was the free breakfast. Being in Amish country we expected something a little special and it was nothing close to special. A couple packages of bagels and bread, a pre packaged muffin, a Krups coffee maker and a juice machine. They did have a couple plastic containers with cereal and a gallon of milk in the small refrigerator. There was a waffle machine if you wanted to try and use it, pretty crude. All in all it was nothing like you would expect at a hotel let along "Amish Inn". If all you're after is a pretty basic place to lay your head, it fits the bill."

"The cottage was super clean. Kitchen was very well stocked and the grill was very clean and ready to use. Our husbands had fun with the Wii The only issue was the comfort of the beds. Both mattresses need replaced or a thick memory foam topper to offer some cushion. If the beds were comfortable the cottage would be a solid 5."

"Clean rooms, well stocked with coffee supplies, soaps and shampoo. Family friendly..staff was outstanding and went out their way to supply us with ice. She went to the second floor with our ice chest and filled it for us because the ice maker machine did not work to on the first floor. Give the morning clerk a raise in pay! 😃Two thumbs up 👍"

"This house was as described, with amenities galore! Our family of 14 was able to sit comfortably together at the dining table, in the living room and in the family room. The house is well stocked for large groups, with plenty of dishes and cups and towels, extra propane tanks, and water toys for many. Our group loved how we could comfortably be together in the communal space, and conveniently chat and be together. It made for a wonderful family get together before the young adults leave for college again. Thank you for thinking of and for accommodating all our needs!"

"Lots of space for our group of 4 sleeping in 3 bedrooms. Very quiet at night location. Good hot water for 4 of us taking showers, one after another. Comfy beds. Great A/C. Great WiFi speed. Host was quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating. Didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit or hot tub. One of our GPS sent us down the side street to the right, but the home’s driveway is located on E Backwater - the garage is by the road and the house sits behind it on the lake side."
