"My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. "The check in area/staff is common for few hotels together, thunderbird, Great lakes and Budget Inn, I believe. For multi-night stay, the room service was on demand only. Good - In small room, they made a small refrigerator, microwave, iron fit in. Not so good - Toilets, Horrible TV size, maybe 21" Monitor or so, Bad - Pools were not thoroughly cleaned, just okay. Also this is nothing negative but there is no breakfast option. But if this place is booked for primarily a place holder / sleep over to go to Macinac Island, then its okay."

"This hotel is definitely all about location, location, location especially on the 4th of July with front and center for the fireworks show over the water. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and the room was not all that clean in the bathroom. We were able to hear water running from rooms around us and doors banging that were in close proximity. Suites were large and accommodating for families with beds in different rooms."

"Our stay was wonderful from check in to check out! The waterpark is clean and filled with fun! The location was perfect for soaking in the beautiful views. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to experience the benefits of halving a great leader in charge, that trickles down to the newest employees dealing with customer service interactions and providing the upmost quality service possible! We can’t wait to return! Thank you!"

"The hotel was great but we stayed on the 3rd floor in room 315 and the whole hall way smelled of Marijuana. I know there is no smoking in the building so I’m not sure why that smell would not be recognized. It really made the stay unpleasant because there is nothing worse than having to smell that the whole stay at the hotel."
