“This was a perfect cabin for our weekend family getaway. My kids loves the bunk beds and the fact they had their own room. Beds were comfortable and the grey blankets were super soft and cozy to snuggle up in! The cabin is in a great location and was super easy to find. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had a wonderful view of the lake from the front windows. Ken and Angelina were fantastic hosts and so easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The cottage was well-appointed, new and nicely located. We went snowmobiling right out of the driveway and want to come back in the Summer as the lake is just down the street.”

“The reason for our stay was to get out of the heat in Florida! We used to have a place at Higgins Lake until 3 years ago. We always enjoyed it here. It's a different pace of life compared to downstate and Florida. More relaxing. We miss that. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. They made sure it was equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and neat. It definitely gives you that "Up North" feel.”

“These adorable cabins are perfect for a girls weekend or a quick family trip. The view of Houghton Lake is amazing. The cabin is intimate in size but comfortable. The amenities provided were very thoughtful and the cabin was clean. I will definitely be returning!”

“The property and the house were very nice! The house was very clean and had everything that you could possibly need. The kitchen was stocked with everything and they had tons of appliances, paper towels, trash bags, Tupperware etc. The kids room was perfect and set up with games that we enjoyed. The dock and kayaks were great and we used them a ton. The only downside of the house was a moisture problem and it subsequently made every door hard to open. The common areas were very comfortable and the outside hangout was really enjoyable. It felt secluded with surrounding woods which was extra relaxing. “Like: Management was friendly, responsive,helpful. Property was clean. Location was prime for shopping, dining. Cabinets were stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, silverware. Dislike: The inside lighting was too dim. Maybe because of my advanced years. No bathroom exhaust fan. Would not hesitate to stay here in the future.”
