"The property manager was not responsive to my messages requesting check-in information the morning of our check-in. I had to contact VRBO customer service for assistance. The villa was somewhat clean. There were cigarette butts in the widow sills that made the place stink. The views were nice. Although, 2 of the balconies in the photos were not accessible as the doors to them were locked. I also received no instructions for checkout. "Loved this place! A great size, well laid out, free parking onsite for guests, convienece store right beneath. Easy access to the highways and tunnels to move around the island. Walking distance to the water. Room is super quiet, dark for sleeping and well setup for cooking. We had a great stay and this made for a good base for our island exploring."

"We loved the location and rooftop pool of this stay, in Madeira. The room was simple, but clean and we enjoyed the amenities. Staff weren’t too friendly and the breakfast was quite limited, but we enjoyed the room and found a great local restaurant to eat at that evening (Restaurant a Chave)."

"Hotel Quinta do Furão is one of the most beautiful hotels that I've ever stayed at. The highlights were the cliffside view with the Atlantic Ocean and mountains in the background, and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean in the morning from our room's balcony. Apart from the view, the hotel is well maintained and the breakfast each morning was very satisfying."

"Clean, quiet, and friendly staff! The view could have been better if there was not a big tree infront of the balcony obstructing the ocean view. The A/C was a big plus in the summer. The amenities looked great ( wish they were open later in the night after a long day of hiking, we did not have time to use them during the day) breakfast was very good. Lots of variety! Parking was ok."

"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madeira. It had everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip—from the well-equipped kitchenette and espresso machine to the thoughtful touch of a collapsible drying rack for swimsuits and towels. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always eager to help. The hotel itself was spotless, and it was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection of fresh, delicious options. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking here again on our next visit!"
