Maria,the landlady,came with bananas and potatoes from the backyard,always there to help you. First time in Madeira,but not the last,strange place."

The property is well equipped with a lovely kitchen, living room, and bathroom downstairs. We cooked in some evening and never had a problem. The upstairs has 3 bright bedrooms and 2 full baths. "What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway!
