Designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living, the spacious property features open-air spaces, a private pool, a fitness/yoga shala, and a climbing wall. Surrounded by lush landscaping, the home allows you to fully embrace the refreshing ocean breeze. One hour of daily housekeeping is included.
ON THE INSIDE
This four-bedroom home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with 1 king bed and 4 queen beds. Thoughtfully designed with sustainability and comfort in mind, the home includes:
A two-car garage and secure gated entrance
A game room for entertainment
Full home solar power and water filtration system
Recycled grey water irrigation for eco-conscious living
UV-resistant laminated glass folding windows and doors
The fully equipped kitchen is a dream for any chef, featuring a massive 20-foot center island, ample indoor and outdoor dining space, and a stunning outdoor kitchen. Should you prefer, we are happy to arrange for a private chef to elevate your dining experience.

Casa Oolibka’s beautifully landscaped grounds provide an idyllic setting for relaxation and recreation. The private pool invites you to unwind, while the fitness/yoga shala and climbing wall add an adventurous touch to your stay. Designed to embrace the natural surroundings, the property is an oasis of comfort and tranquility.
ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS
There is also a separate four-bedroom guest home on the property, available for rent. It features its own private pool and entrance. If you are traveling with a larger group and wish to rent both homes, please reach out for availability.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT CASA OOLIBKA
The home’s design incorporates open-air elements, meaning the windows and glass doors are not completely sealed. While this allows for natural airflow, it also means insects may enter the home. One hour of daily housekeeping is provided to help manage this.
The home undergoes fumigation twice a year to mitigate ants and other insects, though some presence is to be expected in the tropical environment.
To ensure a smooth arrival, a team member will greet you for an in-person check-in. For arrivals after 8 PM, a remote check-in will be arranged, followed by an in-person meeting the next morning.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Casa Oolibka is nestled in one of the most secure neighborhoods above Guiones, offering breathtaking ocean views and just a 10-minute drive to the main Guiones surf beach via paved roads.
The Las Huacas residential community enforces a strict noise ordinance from 10 PM to 7 AM. To maintain the tranquility of this area, all guests must respect this policy. Events, parties, or disturbances of any kind—including weddings, raves, and large gatherings—are strictly prohibited.

LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out before booking.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.

Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.

Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.

If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.

While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
