“What was unique was that there are no staff on site. Check-in was by code and breakfast was help yourself in the kitchen and wash up your own items. Not a problem and the place was very quiet- perhaps too quiet for some. So not really a hotel if by that you expect a manned reception and a bar. But the room was very good and well appointed and the hot tub and seating area a bonus, and the location on the river bank was great.”

“The property was still very much under construction when we stayed. Only a few of the domes were operational. Our dome was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. But we had several issues with the door locks, although the staff were very helpful and attentive to get it resolved. The shared bathrooms were still under construction and not overly clean.”

“This renovated historic property was classy and comfortable. All the finishes were beautiful. There were heat pumps in the rooms which was great in the warm weather. Breakfast was delicious.”

“Clean room, nice location (right near Louisbourgh fortress), quiet, restaurants on site, tasteful beach-inspired decor, spacious room, friendly &helpful staff. Very firm bed. Very small bathroom mirror - hard for shorter people to apply makeup. Our room included dishes, cutlery, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, bar fridge.”
