「This is definitely a unique property. It was clean & convenient for us (downtown, parking, quiet, just a place to sleep for 1 night). The balcony has a nice view of the harbour but has bulky uncomfortable furniture & isn’t very aesthetically pleasing itself. The room also needs a designer touch but it’s spacious & has a nice little fridge. The common kitchen area has lots of stuff but is like the kitchen at someone’s cottage. 「This renovated historic property was classy and comfortable. All the finishes were beautiful. There were heat pumps in the rooms which was great in the warm weather. Breakfast was delicious.」

「Très décevant! Le gazon long, matériaux de construction qui traîne, pas d'eau dans le dôme, on se lève très tôt à cause du toit du dôme, trop cher pour ce qu'on a eu. Seulement 2 toilettes à l'extérieur et se salit des qu'on rentre avec nos souliers.」

「North Star was so beautiful . We had an ocean view room which was amazing ( thank you Mrs MacDonald for the upgrade) . All the staff were awesome especially Colin and Justin who own this wonderful resort. All the staff never stopped seeing that everyone was well looked after. Hope one day to go back for longer, already miss the place.」
