Grannda Mhor is an incredibly special Scottish Cottage set back into the hillside, its full length panoramic window taking advantage of the most spectacular sea views to the south-west across Asknish Bay to the islands of Shuna, Scarba and Jura.
In an area of great natural scenic beauty nestled between Oban and Lochgilphead, the cottage enjoys a fine prominent hillside position with spectacular views south and west over Asknish Bay to Shuna, Luing, Scarba and The Paps of Jura.
Refurbished to an exceptionally high standard; Grannda Mhor combines class and quality whilst offering you all you could hope for in terms of comfort, peace and relaxation.
Comfortably sleeping 8 it is available for rental all year round and is an ideal base for your self-catering holiday in Argyll.

Fabulous views
We could have spent all our time sitting in the lounge or out in the garden enjoying the fantastic views of the islands. We were lucky with weather most of our stay so views were stunning. Only downside was the picture windows in the lounge had trapped condensation on them so the views were restricted somewhat by that. Enjoyed the walk up the hill behind the house most mornings. Great day trips to Mull, Seil and Easdale. Highly recommend the Smiddy cafe in Lochgilphead for coffee/cakes and lunch. Nice wee cafe on Easdale Island, and the island is well worth visiting. On Mull the drive down the road to Lochbuie is absolutely lovely and well worth the time (and amazing food at the Post Office cafe there), as is the drive circumnavigating Ben More. We thought the house could use more shelving and hooks in bathrooms etc Overall we would highly recommend

Grannda Mhor a superb vacation location
This home is in a small cove, 5 minutes walk from a top class hotel, has a superb view and no light pollution at night (haven’t seen so many stars for years). It is furnished to a very high standard, all appliances are virtually new and the sliding door/window with the view is a great bonus. The property manager was very helpful as well as the neighbour who allowed us access to the hills behind via his property ! Highly recommend
