Already planning our return trip!

10/10 clean condo footsteps to the beach!! We could not have asked for a more perfect place for our spring break trip. This was our second stay at this complex but this was our favorite unit by far. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. The deck is perfect for your morning coffee and falling asleep to the crashing waves after a full day of fun was priceless! The only suggestion I would make is that the beach chairs are due to be replaced.

No beach umbrella like most other north coast village units. The only downside was maintenance/landscaping being worked on below the balcony so we had limited time to enjoy peace and quiet on the balcony during the day - understandable that work needed to be completed and this would not prevent us from returning.

So many positive things about this unit. Plenty cooking features. The property was so close to the beach. One issue with the bathroom but they came out immediately to fix the problem(sink wouldn’t drain) next time we’re in the area we will for sure try to rent this again. I even forgot something after I left and they secured it and was able to have someone come get it. 100% satisfied!!!

Reviewer Comments: Wonderful stay, this 2 bedroom condo was well maintained, it had everything we needed, the overall description of the property at the rental site was accurate. Plenty of dishes pots and pans, the beds were comfortable. Parking area was close to rental. The property manager was there when needed and reached out to make sure our needs were met. The view from the property was good, could see beach and harbor. We ate in and we ate out at three of the Harbor Restaurants. We were not crazy about the Oceanside Broiler, the fish and chips at Harbor Fish and Chips were great, highly recommend. My sister and I love being at the ocean, spent a couple days on the beach, enjoyed our daily walks on the beach. Highly recommend MakeMyVacation.

Disappointed

The property was beautiful and we could see the beach from the unit. The unit provided towels, beach towels and beach chairs which came in handy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. My disappointment was when dealing with the internet and TV, neither would work. The internet would work here and there and the local cable not at all. When trying to get this resolved they wanted us to be at the apartment between a certain time. Unfortunately this was our vacation and we had plans and didn't want to be tied down waiting for people to show up. In the end it never got resolved but they did compensate us after a few phone calls back and forth. If we came back we would not stay here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll start by saying I would stay in this rental again. The location is great; on a quiet stretch of beach in Oceanside. The view is wonderful, and we enjoyed watching surfers in the morning and sunset in the evening. The unit is (mostly) very well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. I do have a few issues, however. We had trouble with the front door lock on more than one occasion and had to call a security guard to help us get in the unit. I got locked in the primary bedroom twice by just shutting the door--I didn't lock it--and it took my husband quite a while jiggling the door knob from the other side to get the door open. The unit needs instructions for working the TV in the living room. When I talked to someone in the office she said "are you tech-savvy? This is what you do...." If you need to be tech savvy, you should have instructions. Finally, there were a lot of scuff marks on the walls and some very beat up end tables in the primary bedroom--which were particularly noticeable because the rest of the furniture was in great condition. So, these are quibbles but are little things that if addressed, would have made our stay perfect. Finally, please note that you need to bring your own toiletries and should bring all your streaming service log in information/passwords.

This was our first stay in F8 and it was a nicely appointed condo with great amenities like the stove, oven and dishwasher for cooking in. The property was also in close proximity to parking and the beach, which made it great for getting things in and out. The property managers promptly and gracefully addressed all our concerns with the condo and there are great things to come with the condo after this Fall's refurbishment of carpet and paint. This will be a solid property for all those who wish to rent and and a great place near the warm sun and cool waters of the Pacific Ocean. Thank you again Make My Vacation for all your help!

We love our week in Oceanside. This is a tradition that we look forward to every year. We did love this unit and location, but would’ve loved to have enough beach chairs for all six of us & more toiletries available. They unit description did mention that it did not have any boogie boards - which proved to be very difficult to find adequate for adults- these would be a nice add. We have stayed in several units over the years and this is the first time we have not had any included with our rental.
