AMAZING SPOT

This is our 3rd stay in about 9 months at this beach rental. The location is central, the sounds of the waves, the view , all amazing. Our unit literally has everything you need! I love every room has its own bathroom! Another AMAZING point is we get to always bring our furry pet... and that is the MAIN REASON we will continue to stay here! To finish your stay off... it's like having the comfort of a hotel ... you do not need to clean up ANYTHING when you leave! LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE the beachfront rentals! Thank you team!

Awesome Beach House

This property had all of the bells and whistles. Clean, spacious, close to town, private, grill, jacuzzi! Our family had a blast! This will be our new spot. You cannot put a price tag on the location and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks as you enjoy the patio or jacuzzi! More IMPORTANTLY... when they say PET FRIENDLY.. that is exactly what it is!!!! There is no PET FRIENDLY WITH CONDITIONS, must weigh under 20lbs etc. We were able to bring our furry family member who travels with us without any "conditions". My hat is off to the property management team! Thank you for a wonderful birthday family celebration time! Priceless!

Oceanside Getaway

The place was in the perfect location with a great view of the ocean. Close walk to the pier and restaurants. Host was great and entire process was easy. We will stay here again!

Great place!

Exactly as advertised. Garage is a little tight, so if you have anything larger than a minivan you may end up parking on the street. No complaints. VRBO neighbors were friendly as well. Good thing because they are very close.

Amazing house!

Great Escape

beach small in front of house ---rocks blocked the view of ocean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tha home was very nice and we fit very nicely with 9 people. The gate off the patio leading to the beach did not lock and that was one of the reasons we chose this prop. to keep the kids contained. There was vertualy no beach directley in front of the house. High tide was at noon so no beach until late afternoon. We had to walk a ways down the road to get to beach and trucking 4 one year olds was not fun. No access to the garage from inside the house was very inconvenient.

Oceanside family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great management company! We had a few maintenance issues and they were quick to take care of everything. The unit is the bottom unit - depending on who the upstairs neighbors were, we had two really loud nights ( family was celebrating their moms 70th bday). Once they left the new neighbors were very quiet. The house is right on the ocean however much of Oceanside is separated from the sea by large rocks for water control. So there really wasn't much beach but rather just huge rocks. We had to walk down the road to get to an actual sandy beach. The property was well equipped with extra towels and the kitchen had everything necessary. All quality furniture and fixtures. Very big and spacious home!

Huge Disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very excited when we booked this property and were really looking forward to an amazing week. But the whole experience was a big disappointment. I don't even know where to begin recounting the disappointments. First, we repeatedly asked them for early check in. We were arriving with four toddlers at 10am and they wouldn't let us check in before 4pm. We requested early check in and were willing to pay the price ($200) but guess how early the 'early check in' was? 2pm. I was happy to pay to check in early but it seemed ridiculous to pay $200 for just 2 extra hours. In addition, when we got there, there was no vacant space in the garage. Both spaces were taken up. We called up customer service and after twenty minutes on hold they said, "The garage spaces have been taken up by the party staying in the upper unit, if they don't move their vehicles in the next 30-60 minutes, please call us back." I flipped when I heard that. We had been waiting for 6 hours with four kids who were hungry and cranky and to be told we may have to wait for another hour "hoping" the other party would move their car in order for us to park, was just unacceptable. The hot tub stopped working unexpectedly on the third day and my portable speaker blew off when I plugged it into the outdoor socket. We called customer service again and after a long time on the phone they sent someone to help us. The supplies were very stingy. They had crimped on everything from trash bags to toiletries. Overall the property was ill-kept, slightly run down and didn't feel like it was worth the (very high) price. Definitely not returning and most definitely not recommending either this property or Beachfront Only Vacation Rentals.

Not happy!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hello just wanted to point out a couple suggestions. The air conditioner did not work. It leaked all over the floor getting our belongings wet a slightly damaged. The house sleeps many people about 16 I think and there were only 6 forks. It was so uncomfortable to have to use spoons to eat. If the property holds so many it should be equipped to accommodate that amount of people comfortably. The oven also did not work. We wanted to bake and couldn’t for this. The area rug was also lifted in the edge and our family kept tripping on it. It is a hazard. Thankfully no one got hurt. I have pictures if you need them. The place was spacious and comfortable to sleep. And a good location. We were also told that the beach was swimmable but it actually wasn’t in front of the property. Which is fine but we did inquire about that prior to arriving. Just to clarify for others. Our stay in your priority was not what we were expected. We paid over $5,000 and it was not worth it. Very disappointed.

Memory of a Lifetime

My father is 94 years old. He, together with my two sisters, and I had the best time ever. Prior to arrival, I was kept up to date via emails and texts. Any questions I had were already anticipated and answered. The house was beautiful, just as described on website. It was pristine in cleanliness. I definitely will be back. Tremendous thanks and gratitude!

Oceanside beach rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and property itself was beautiful and walking distance to everything. However when we got there the ac was not working. They promptly brought us 3 ac rentals and placed them in 3 of the 4 rooms. The 4th room we were sleeping in with our 6 month old baby girl and they didn’t bring anything for this room. She woke up upset every two hours and was sweating through her pajamas. There is also no fan in this room or anything. We found some small fans in the other room, but they literally blew no air. We were told that they “move air like a jet plane” which was untrue. We tried multiple times to call the numbers listed as well as the after hours number and never received calls back, we were only able to get ahold of the management through text. We finally got them to bring us two normal size fans for the room which made it more bare able but not a very comfortable vacation with our baby. Also, when we arrived the driveway and garage was full of cars because the cleaners were not finished cleaning the upstairs units so we could not park to unload our stuff for an extra hour. The cleaners had told the renters for the upstairs unit that their rental was ours and let the entire family into our unit and they were unpacking and had all their stuff already in all of our rooms when we arrived. They had to unpack and move everything back out.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. However the house and amenities is all broken. 1. HOT tub it dwasnt even working. It completely died. Our entire time there my kid had to swim in coolish/cold water. They came once to refill it with HOT water. The weekend we stayed was memorial weekend, the weather was gloomy and chilly. I was hoping for the hot tub to work. But my poor kids swam in coolish/cold water. 2. BBQ GRILL wasnt working. We checked in at 4pm and wanted to grill out for dinner. They didnt bring us a new grill till 9pm at night. My kids ended up getting cup noodles for dinner. 3. Fridge wasnt even that cold..all our food went bad over night. 4. The TV wasnt working. The control was missing a battery. They had to replace the entire tv but took them 3hrs. I emailed them 100x and ask if someone give me a call regarding all this. 2 days later, a guy name Peter callef and offer $100 refund because thats what was stated in the contract. But i think once you have 2 or more amenities that goes work. They should be able to bend the contract and refund more than that! Management shouldve done a better job checking thoroughly throughout the house with all the amenities to make sure everything works before they hand it over to their guests. We were looking for a great experience here due to it being our first time with this site. Ended up being a terrible experience for my family. And i had told Peter it took them 5hrs to replace the grill. From 4pm-9pm. He had responded oh that's good , thats quick. It's not quick. Everyone was starving! We didnt get to have dinner till 930-10pm. Anyways. I would never book with them again. So if anyone book with them be careful to have your amenities goes wrong!!

Incredible!!!

The properties and staff at Beachfront Only are absolutely phenomenal. Upon arrival, we realized that our hot tub was not working and they promptly moved us to another unit without hesitation. Max, in particular, was extremely professional and friendly, and didn’t leave the house without ensuring everything was working for us in our new unit. The office staff was very sweet as well. As for the unit, it was gorgeous. All the bedrooms were spacious and clean, and some of the bathrooms even had heated floors! As for the views, hot tub, and fire pit.. it was all wonderful! I will definitely be returning soon and will recommend this company to all my friends looking for rentals in San Diego :)

Overall this is just an okay property for the price. We expected a higher quality of furnishings.

The location and view are wonderful! Where the property lacks was in the cleanliness and the furnishings. Two of the rooms appeared to not have been cleaned at all, dog hair on bedding and floor. The bench seat cushions were stained. The kitchen cabinets splattered with food. The hot water took at least 20 minutes to reach lukewarm. We also had issues with the hot tub being so hot you could not even sit in it, then when you could the jets barely worked. I would not rent this property again for the price we paid.
