Wonderful Stay!!

Absolutely beautiful stay in Oceanside! This home is perfect for a beach stay (loaded with chair, beach boards, sand toys and towels) and the view of the ocean from the house is stunning. We had a blast being on on the ocean side boardwalk - the surfing, people watching + wildlife (dolphins and seals) was wonderful! I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent Home

We had a great week in Oceanside at this beautiful property. The highlights include sitting on the deck to enjoy the view of the whitewater, the easy walk to downtown, and watching a movie downstairs. I highly recommend this home and will be back! Debbie was great and easy to communicate with.

Lovely Stay

There were 10 of us who had a wonderful week at this property. We had 5 teenagers who had their own comfortable sleeping area, pool table and kitchen . Adults had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the beautiful deck and comfortable seating with firepit. Kitchen was clean and well stocked for cooking. We would. all like to go back. The hosts were so nice and responsive

2023 Yearly Beach Family Vacation

Owners provided a first class, well stocked house and made sure we were comfortable. Views were great. Since the tide was high during the day we had a short walk to a sandy beach. There are steps to the ocean two houses north. Parking for four cars was convenient. We plan to return in 2024.

Awesome!

Our family of 10 loved everything about our weeklong stay! The home is beautiful, spacious, and most importantly, right on the beach. The balcony has a sliding door that opens up the whole house to a spectacular view. The owners Debbie and Robert are wonderful to work with and really care. A truly memorable experience. Beautiful place. Very comfortable and well outfitted with everything you need. Great and easy communication with the owners. Felt like home. Would definitely recommend this property. The views we awesome. We even saw a couple of whales breaching the water and some dolphins.

Spacious beach house with ocean waves

We loved this house and the view. The hosts were excellent - they gave us ideas for activities and helped with any questions I had. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that the beds and sheets were as comfortable as home. They had lots of closet space and hangers.

Great Vacation Home

We had an amazing time visiting Oceanside for the Ironman 70.3 race. Staying on The Strand was fantastic for our family to watch us race, and then relax for the next week taking in the amazing ocean views. Debbie was great to work with before, during and after our stay. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a great clean property that's big enough you feel at home and not cramped. The Ocean views were amazing, close to the pier and beaches. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed during our stay. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

Epitome of CA beach experience

Property is better than the pictures show! Was able to give my out of state family the "CA experience". Debbie and Robert were very responsive to all communications. Robert even ended up needing fix a door lock just before we checked in. We will be back.

We stayed here for 4 nights with the family, the house configuration worked well. You are waterfront but the beach is a short walk down the way. The one-way road in front of the house keeps traffic slow but there is a lot of it. People like to cruise the strand which provided interesting people/car watching. We spent the whole afternoon on the deck taking it all in. None of us have ever spent any time in Oceanside and we enjoyed being so close to breweries and restaurants.

Great Spring Break!

This was a great house. I have rented many vacation homes and this one was one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in. Very full, complete kitchen. Bathrooms had an abundance of towels and supplies. The deck was nice and overall great experience. I would say the downside was the beach, which the owners cannot control. We were not able to lay out or play in the sand directly in front of the home. The owner was very communicative and helpful and I would definitely stay there again. This felt like a home much more than a rental. 5 Stars for the house for sure!

The perfect home

This is such a beautiful home! The view was spectacular from the minute we woke up and went to bed; I enjoyed lots of patio time. The sound of the waves was a pleasant surprise as I slept. Debbie, the owner was an excellent host and provided everything and anything you could think of to have the perfect vacation. The home is fully stocked and word of advice- don’t over pack like I did. Check-in was quick and easy and the home was immaculate when we arrived. This was a staycation for my fam and I, but we did take advantage of the beach cruisers and took plenty of walks around the neighborhood. This was our first time in Oceanside and enjoyed the small beach town. I can’t wait to return and I would definitely stay at this house if given the opportunity. Thank you Debbie for providing the perfect place to make memories.

Perfect Family Thanksgiving Spot!

First things first, the property description was so accurate that when we arrived we knew exactly how everything would be laid out and what would be provided during our stay. Secondly, Robert & Debbie genuinely understand the concept of a home-away-from-home and made us feel welcome from the moment we confirmed the booking and through check-out. There were 12 of us (8 adults & 4 kids, ages 3-11), and there was plenty of space for all of us without feeling crowded or cramped. Having the extra refrigerator space & oven downstairs made Thanksgiving cooking a breeze! And finally, you cannot beat the view and beach access! The steps down to the beach are practically right across the road (The Strand) and YES, there is a high tide where the waves are crashing against the rocks. BUT there is naturally a LOW TIDE...which during this time of the year was in the 2-3 hours before sunset each day so every afternoon we had our own private beach just steps away from this beautiful home! Thank you so much for everything, Robert & Debbie...we WILL be back for our next beach vacation to O'side!
