“There is plenty of room to be with friends or family. The deck is enormous and had a great view of the river and firepit area. Very well furnished and clean. Very relaxing and quiet with no traffic. Great communication with the property manager and easy check-in and out. We enjoyed our time there and would stay again if we are in the area!”

“Once again we had great time! Love the cabin and the river sound. Sitting on the porch in a rocker or on the swing Is so soothing and peaceful. Getting in the hot tub and seeing the river and the trees and then the night sky is heaven made. The kitchen had every dish, pots and pans we needed. Cabin is so clean Angela does a great job. The communication with the owner Julie is quick to respond if needed. We love it and can’t wait to return.”

“My wife and I stayed for our anniversary. Very private and secluded, exactly what we wanted. The drive to blue ridge is easy and the cabin is easily accessible. The porch and the hot tub were our favorite. The beds are extremely comfortable and the cabin felt like home. Extremely clean and the owners made sure we had everything we needed. Will stay again!”

“Almost Like Home is a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, with amazing views! Mathew and Sara were fantastic hosts. They were super quick to reply to inquiries, offered a helpful "things to do in the area" listing, and even gave us their phone numbers in case we needed to reach out for any reason (which we didn't). The cabin itself was great - clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials for a pleasant get away. I definitely hope to return for another relaxing weekend soon!”

“Our visit was wonderful despite the storms that we had. The cabin is cute and cozy, had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast and supper as we enjoyed lunch in town. So much do within a short driving distance. I felt bad as i always vacuum, start all laundry and do a good clean of the area before we leave, but a storm came through over night and knocked the electricity out. “I have all boys and they had a blast. The property exceeded our expectations and gave us the perfect space to make memories that will surely last a lifetime. The location is nice and private and there is plenty to do between the hot tub, the fishing and the fire pit. Inside there are board games and a cozy fireplace with plenty of seating for everyone. “We had our daughter’s wedding here and it was PERFECT!!! With the home having 2 kitchens, everything went smoothly!!!! Very very spacious and the views were spectacular!!!!! Andrew was easy to get in contact with which made things easy. The double decks made for a perfect cocktail hour and then dance floor. I would recommend this home to anybody! It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! “I was hesitant to book this property since it’s pet friendly but the reviews were great so I booked. I have 2 dogs but know not everyone’s pets are trained. HOWEVER, this was the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed at and I’m a clean freak. We even had to scoot the couches back to make room for a playpen for my 6 month old and there wasn’t a spec of dirt under the couches when we moved them, I was shocked! The cabin was stocked with pretty much everything we needed besides food. Overall the cabin……
