“We went to Birmingham for a quick getaway to enjoy the city and check out the food scene. The townhouse had a ton of character and we really liked the finishes and decoration. Very clean and well maintained. The location has lots to offer with restaurants and shops within a mile of the property.”

“We stayed at The Butterfly House when to attend a show at Avondale Brewing. The house is perfect with a fenced in backyard. The neighborhood is very walkable. We will definitely stay here again.”

“It was a nice place to stay for the night. The host did give us easy to follow directions to find the unit. Though, parking was not great for us a with a full sized SUV. It was a little tough to pull out when the neighbors had their vehicles parked as well. There is other parking on the street, but it was full. And the driveway is fairly steep to walk up. “Well appointed cottage a couple of blocks off a busy street with easy access to the hospitals, downtown & clubs. Home is nicely decorated with a welcoming swing on the front porch. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe & fantastic for walking with a park 2 blocks away. Options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are also close by. The General is a quaint coffee shop with good breakfasts and a lovely gift shop. Communication with the owner was easy and swift. Washcloths and bath/shower soap were in……

“House has everything you need plus a fenced in back yard which makes letting your dog out so easy. Heat and air work great. Slept so well in the very comfortable mattress. Very quiet neighborhood. Took my dog for a walk as wide streets have little traffic. Easy to get in touch with host or his assistant. Recommend this property.”

“Me and some buddies came in from out of town to see a show at Avondale Brewery! This house was a 2 minute ride from Avondale Brewery, with many others attractions in the neighborhood, and the Uber charges were exceptionally reasonable. Very nice house. Sizeable kitchen, large dinning table, plenty of seating around the table, sofa that would seat 4-5 comfortably or two people could stretch out, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. I would definitely consider this house for a future trip.……

“Great location to Barber Motorsports track ( 30 mins). Plenty of parking - we had 4 mustangs. Quiet neighbor. Within 5 mins of most Shopping needs - Santo coffee 2 min drive and GREAT!”

The outdoor area is just lovely and our kids enjoyed playing chess and lounging about. The house was very clean and we had plenty of towels for everyone. The neighborhood felt very safe and is conveniently located to many small shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future!”

“We booked for 2 nights but our tournament got over early and since only 2 1/2 hrs from home decided to leave after one night. It was clean, beds were comfortable, small cut up house with bad floors, fridge is in back room, the pictures said 2nd fridge. It’s a noisy area with a train and a lot of fire trucks. It needs a lot of updates, has a lot of broken items like towel bar, toilet moved, no hangers or dresser in our room, hole in the wall. Squirrel in ceiling, the tree out front was dropping……
