We had only an overnight getaway and we loved the cozy house which was meticulously clean. The hosts were wonderful. They were in touch with us before and during our stay. It was very clean, well equipped and super convenient for all the restaurants, shops and galleries in downtown Black Mountain. As the hosts mention in the description, this IS an old building and as such, the apartment is not perfect inside and you can sometimes hear neighbors, but the reasonable price...

"The room was very nice. Bathroom was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Continental breakfast brought up to the room was a great morning surprise. Location obviously was convenient to everything. Only complaint is that the free play arcade was awesome, but machines were not that well maintained. Both pinball machines and one of the skeeball machines needed maintenance. Didn’t help that a couple parents were letting their kids run amok and climb all over the machines. Not the hotel’s fault that happened but they really need to make some changes with supervision. Would absolutely stay again"
