"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided.
The bed was lovely and comfortable.
People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem.
If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "
"My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life."

"Kate and Paul were exceptionally welcoming before the check-in time. They invited us to leave our car in the car park while we went walking for the day. They took our luggage up to our room which went over and above what we would race as good service. Throughout our stay, Paul and Kate were wonderful , friendly, knowledgeable & helpful hosts. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back."

"Gorgeous Hotel centrally located in the village of Hawkshead, room had all the facilities, key pad entry so no keys to carry
