“The recidense experience was far beyond my expectation. Room was very spacious with almost all necessary facility ready, wifi was superior unlike some other hotels in isle of skye. Moreover, the hotel has a unique view of sunset. Imagine how’s the feeling when u gasp a glass of whisky looking at the sun dips into the sea right out side the lounge. Food generally ok.”

“All staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Windy. The restaurant food was exquisitely delicious. Tha bar was fully stocked with a great variety of drinks. Very quiet and serene with great views of the bay. ”

“Noisy location right near the plaza made worse by a food truck that pulled up at midnight. Room was small but fine except for the noisiness. Breakfast was ok. Hotel itself was beautifully presented. If it werent for the noisy people in the plaza the spot is perfect.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Taigh Duitseach in April 2024. Checking in was very easy, the property was lovely and clean, the breakfast was exceptional and lovingly cooked in front of us by Jim and Paulline who were very kind and welcoming. We were only on Skye for 72 hours so we'll definitely be coming back and would feel lucky to stay here again next time!”

“The cottage was very well situated to explore and enjoy the Isle of Skye. We loved the private setting with a wonderful view across water to hills in the background. It was a very relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the island. The Croft cottage has been expertly renovated and is well appointed.”

“We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was away from the busyness, it was just a really charming spot to stay. We would definitely come back again.”

“Parken direkt vor der Tür, unkomplizierter check in. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt, es ist grösser als es auf den Bildern scheint. Sehr komfortabel, alles tip top sauber , grosse Dusche. Küche mit Kühlschrank, Herdplatten und Mikrowelle . Es stand sogar Butter, Marmelade, Käse und vieles mehr bei unserer Ankunft bereit . Alan ist ein sehr liebenswerter Gastgeber. Er hat uns wertvolle Tipps für unsere Ausflüge gegeben. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel. Es sind nur ein paar Minuten Fussweg bis……
