“Perfect location for fishing Hat Creek! Enjoyed the spaciousness of the kitchen and living area with 2 couches, and the deck for wildlife viewing and stargazing. Gracious hosts were very responsive to questions. Wonderful home base for our trips to Burney Falls and Lassen National Park. Would definitely stay again!”

“This simple, clean, and roomy cabin was the perfect spot for exploring Lassen and the immediate area with the family. It had all the basic requirements needed for cooking meals after a day of fun. The pizza place in Shingletown is great, too. The spa was very welcome after strenuous hikes. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were well stocked. The washer and dryer kept our towels and bathing suits clean and dry. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for evening walks with the dog. Wish……

“Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. ”

“This house had it all! We had ages 5 to 63 staying here and everyone was extremely pleased with the home. It was well stocked with everything you need. The kids loved the board games and sporting equipment. The adults loved the relaxing patio area! The location was convenient to Lassen NP. The owners have considered everything for a comfortable stay and made it truly feel like you were at home.”

“My family and I loved the rustic feel of the home. There was a lot of space and the inside was clean. We had all we needed to cook homemade dinners and breakfasts and pack lunches for exploring. We had easy access to Lassen Volcanic National Park, about 15 minutes to the northwest entrance. The neighbors we met were all kind. On checkout day, we ended up with a flat tire and the property managers were communicative and understanding. (Closest tire shop was over 40 min away!)”
