“Excellent property! One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Just off the main street (less than 300m) but still quiet, the Scotsman only has 6 bedrooms so it is very intimate, with a number of smaller lounges that couples can relax in while not disturbing other guests. All of it in a warm, cozy and especially luxurious design style. Morning breakfast is excellent and there is a large back terrace with unique seating areas, again as a measure of privacy. Staff were excellent, very friendly……

“The room was very clean with lots of towels and toiletries. Very easy check-in and check-out process. The beds were good but a bit too hard, but this wouldn't stop us from booking again. The only issue we had was that we could hear every step and sound from the room above. Since this is an older building, it seems that there is not much sound proofing between rooms. It wasn't a major problem, but it could be if you are sensitive to noise when trying to sleep.”
