Lovely Stay

We stayed for a long weekend, and the condo had everything we needed. Couldn’t beat the views, and the short walk down to the beach. Easily the least crowded area of the beach during peak season.

BEST location and view!

This was our second time to stay at the Emerald Sky and it does not disappoint! Check in and check out was a breeze with communication at its best. The entire property was clean and just adorable and the view from the patio was beautiful day and night! Sunsets on the patio or a short walk to the beach, this place has everything you will need for making a great memory! The location was easy to get to and so many choices for fun and food nearby! We will be back again and again every chance we get!

Nice Little Condo

For a one bedroom unit, it had enough space for two people. For families with young children, there would be enough room for them, too. It was clean, smelled fresh and was updated. The pool is small, but it felt heated which was very nice in March. Overall, a nice condo for someone looking for smaller place to relax...nice views from balcony.

RELAXATION PARADISE! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

The absolute PERFECT condo & location for a beach getaway. Perfect for 2-6 people, comfortably. We stayed 7 days and not once did we feel as if another owned this unit. It is literally within walking-distance of EVERYWHERE one might need to go. The ocean at this spot is super clear AND shallow, as we were able to walk straight out to the sandbar withis water reaching mid-chest. No complaints of any sort- just fond and special memories made at Emerald Skye 45- Our Forever-Vacation paradise!

Quick Get-Away

The property is in a great location away from the crowds of Gulf Shores. The Emerald Isle property is not a large as most beachfront condos so the beach was not crowded at all. The condo itself (#45) was nice and clean with a fabulous view! The ONLY criticism was the bed mattress seemed past its prime and the balcony furniture was also a little tired. But overall, a wonderful retreat! Warning, take your own beach chairs... the rentals on the beach are quite steep!

We have stayed here several times. As always the accommodations are fantastic. My wife did want me to suggest having a larger regular-sized skillet. The only one provided was an eight inch skillet. Made cooking breakfast a challenge but she made it. Regardless, we love this place!

Family Vacation

Location was perfect! Condo was great aside from things that were mentioned in other reviews. The main couch is well loved and can probably be replaced. The bathtub takes forever to drain. I will say the cleaning company did not clean properly and there was still sand all over the floor when we arrived. We came in late and I didn’t want to bother anyone and it was of no fault of the condo owners so I don’t fault them for that. Other than those minor things…. It was wonderful and I highly recommend! Air conditioning was strong! Place was so comfortable and the view was fantastic. Loved the pool too! It wasn’t super crowded which was great… my kiddos had the pool almost to themselves every time we used it!

Closet Doors were off in bedroom. Garbage deposal didn’t work. Towels were not soft. Front eye on stove didn’t work. Door hinge knocked everytime we went out. Thank goodness for the extra fans. No blankets

Great location, Condo was fine but needed some repairs to the bathtub drain, some of the floor trim was loose and completely off between the hall and bedroom. The screen on the balcony stayed out of its tracks. ( my husband fixed it multiple times while we were there) . The air conditioner was so noisy you could not hear the waves rolling in while the door was cracked. The condo also needs a really good deep cleaning although from the initial walkthrough one might think was clean. The outdoor space was very well kept. Small condo units, but very good for a nice, relaxing vacation. Noisy air conditioner

Ideal Location

direct access to the beach and within walking distance of shopping, groceries, and restaurants makes the stay much more pleasant. can't beat that view!

Nice vacation

The area was fantastic. The condo unit was very clean and had starter items to get us started. The view from the balcony was stunning. I loved the box fans, as we love noise while sleeping. The beds were very comfortable. The washer and dryer was a plus. We went to Waterville and that was a hit. We also loved how close it was to Flora-Bama. We would recommend this unit to others.

Nicely decorated, but the sofa was so uncomfortable. There was no air in the living room area, I set the temperature all the was to 60 and it still was hot. The only air conditioning was in the bedroom, it worked fine. The condo looked cleaned but did not smell clean to me. I cleaned houses for a living for six years, had my own clients and it would not have been acceptable to me. If those things were corrected I would say it would be a nice place to stay.
