“The room was fine but besides Andrew and Brandon, the staff was not accommodating. My last day there, the beach person decided not to believe I was a guest of the hotel and wouldn't seat me under the shade since they were for guests. Finally, he got me a chaise but no towels in the sun. Hours later, the chaises under the shade had still not been used and I was upset to the point of tears and burnt.
Mind you, you can only get to the beach from the hotel.

“My niece stayed at Joia in March 2026 and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with wash clothes to wipe our hands and was then given a yummy drink that had ginger in it. The lobby was beautiful. Kayla was warm and inviting when she checked us in. She told us, we were upgraded to a swim up room due to my Expedia status. The bellman was so nice that escorted us to our room.
