THIS IS SCAM
DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. IT IS A SCAM. I rented this property to meet my family for mother's day weekend. We were coming from different parts of the State of Florida. Our first day of vacation was ruined. We drove over two hours to get there. We arrived at the property and found out the property was not ready for us. The house was a big mess, with dirty towels, leftover food everywhere, the pool and pool deck were dirty. The entire house inside was full of flies, beds/linen were dirty, everything was disgusting, the whole house smelled like garbage. I called Hotels.com customer service. That was another disappointment. I was on the phone for approximately 2.5 hours without a solution. I talked to different people, including a supervisor, who couldn't help me either. The call center is outsource. I asked to talk to someone in the states, but that was another dead end. Based on what the supervisor told me, he tried to contact the owner(s) several times but couldn't get in touch with them. I ended up spending more money. Hotels.com told me that a refund would be requested from the owner, but they can't guarantee that the refund will be granted. After various search and phone calls to different hotels, we ended up booking 4 rooms in a hotel ourselves. I wouldn't use Hotels.com again. I was told that they are not responsible for the cleaning or the upkeep of any property, that is the owners responsibility total BS —useless company.
