Awesome Home

Had a wonderful family trip to Orlando! The vacation home was spotless, and its spacious layout accommodated our family perfectly - loved how we had our own area of the house, big enough to have a family sit down dinner together. All the amenities to cook meals. 4.5 bathrooms so we can all get ready at the same time- this was a time saver in the mornings. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t nice enough to take advantage of the water park - but I would have loved to have gone! Huge bonus to the property. Owner was extremely responsive to messages. Close proximity to Disney added extra convenience to our stay. Highly recommend!

We rented the house because it was close to Disney World. We had a great time at the house. The kids loved the bunk beds and air hockey table. The rooms were clean and nice. We had a great time and will definitely rent from Dr. Thomas Shea, the next time we visit Orlando again!!

This is a beautiful home and both the owner and the management company were great to deal with. There's plenty of room, with several comfortable areas to relax after a day at the parks. It was conveniently located to Disney and certainly was much better than staying in a cramped hotel room! I would definitely recommend this home.

Wonderful vacation home!

We enjoyed a lovely stay here! Large home easily fit 7 of us. Great appliances...loved having washer and dryer on hand! And also the water filter in the fridge! No more of that swampy Florida water to drink!! Home owner was great to communicate with, and made sure we we knew how to get in and settled!

Beautiful, central location, would definitely book again

We recently stayed at this home with our children and grandchild. The home is just as beautiful, clean and comfortable as it looks in the pictures. We visited the parks almost everyday and travel time was minimal. The area is near grocery stores, restaurants and you have access to the pools and gym in the resort which is quiet and well kept. I highly recommend this home if you are visiting Orlando. Not only is it comfortable, beautiful with a good location, but the owner, Dr Shea, was very responsive and helpful with any requests.

We loved our stay. They house had plenty of space for everyone. The kids had their space upstairs and college ladies enjoyed their own space in the in law suite. It’s close to all the parks. Walmart is 7 mins away. We had no problem reaching the owner if we needed to know something. Great home! We will be back.

Beautiful Home

We stayed at this home during spring break. My daughter and some of her friends drove down from College from Iowa for some R & R! This place was perfect. The pools were nice and they enjoyed the outdoor patios both upstairs and down. I would recommend this place as your next destination to Orlando. The convince alone is worth it, everything is 10 minutes away! The owner Tommy was amazing to work with as well! I cannot say enough good things about this home!

Luxurious family retreat!

The house is in fantastic shape with more than enough room for our family of 7! The older kids stayed in the guest house and the little ones stayed with us in the main house giving everyone plenty of privacy. House was equipped with all the essentials to cook large family meals as well. It's located in a quiet area of the property close to Disney, restaurants and stores. Perfect home, location and resort for our family

The home and resort were beautiful and our family enjoyed both! The home is very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We all enjoyed playing air hockey while we relaxed at the house between our adventures. And the water park and lazy river were fabulous...well worth the extra money! The detached suite was perfect for Grandma and all the beds and pillows were comfy. We have already recommended this home to friends. The owner was wonderful to work with and responds quickly. Early March was perfect for weather and crowds were smaller. All of the theme parks were a short 15 minute drive. Made some amazing memories on this trip! Thanks Dr. Shea!

Nice home, nice resort, nice location

We stayed in this home for a week. It is a nicely appointed row house in a development of mansions within Reunion Resort. The home was nice, very spacious, and had a great feature of a separate living suite above the garage that we didn't use but would be handy for another family (recommend a small kitchen since it is detached). We enjoyed tennis at the resort as well as the restaurants at the main hotel. Sushi in the Lobby Bar was exceptional! Disney wasn't our focus, but it is within 12 minutes and far enough away to enjoy quiet evening time. Only drawback for families with kids is no private pool, but access to resort pools and there is waterpark on site. Owner was very responsive during booking and helpful as we settled in. Thanks for a good week of business and some fun in Orlando!

Great experience

My wife and I stayed at this house for 3 weeks. The first week my sister-in-law and brother-in-law were with us, the second week my 3 grown children, their spouses, and 2 grandchildren stayed with us, and the 3rd week it was just the two of us. The property was as advertised and the owner/host was great to deal with. Communication was timely and helpful. The location was convenient to everything in the area (Disney, shopping, restaurants, etc..) It is located almost directly across the street from Traditions/Nicklaus golf course pro shop/restaurant if you are familiar with Reunion. The Casita was a very nice aspect providing a private apartment detached from main home. If there was any negative, I think the cleaning service could be a little more thorough, although a rental will never look like your own home. The kitchen cookware is adequate though not expansive. Bring your own baking sheets if you want to use the oven for roasting/baking and such. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tom!

Our stay

There were things advertised in the ad that were not true. There was no computer, soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Access to the Casita was very hard. Having to park in back and walk completely around house with no walkway to get into the house because the only way in is front door is a little ridiculous. Dishes that are available were dirty. Could not control the temperature without having to text or call the property owner. A mini fridge should be provided in the Casita as so not having to constantly go down stairs and into the main house. Spa tub in mother-in-law sweet was broken and out of order with a sign stating do not use. Furniture was very dirty and battered. Air hockey machine did not work very well. The video game systems where only parts and pieces so none of them worked. Seem like 100s of light switches in every room. As much money as we spent to stay here, I definitely expected more. Temperature was originally set on 52 degrees and the high our first day was 47 degrees.

Great time at Reunion Resort!

We stayed at this property Feb 19-26 for our annual family trip to the Orlando area with our two kids, ages 12 and 18. The home is incredibly spacious and welcoming with a great layout of bedrooms and bathrooms that allow everyone to have their 'own space.' Granted, there were only four of us staying in the home however we would have paid at least what we paid here or more that we did per night at a nearby hotel and without the fabulous amenities. We've made the mistake before of booking a hotel over a home and will not do that again - a beautiful home such as this one is so much better than any cramped hotel room. I can't say enough about the location of this home - it's so quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds of the theme parks but yet a close 10-15 minute drive to Disney and less than 30 minutes to Universal. Additionally, there are the conveniences of several grocery stores in the area and lots of restaurants to choose from close by. I love the security of being in a gated community which is an added bonus. What really sets this home apart from all the other rentals available in the area are a few things - the furnishings are top notch, high end appliances, comfy couches and flat screen televisions in nearly every room of the house including all the bedrooms. The other differentiator is the high regard Doc Shea has for ensuring his guests have an enjoyable experience. He is super responsive and helpful with any and all questions we had both before and during our stay. Thanks Doc Shea!! I highly recommend staying at this beautifully maintained home. It will make your vacation all the more special. We have definite plans to come back!!

Couldn't ask for anything more...

We have stayed in the Orlando area multiple times over the past 20 years and this house was ranked at the top of our list. Doc Shea, the owner of the house, was amazing to work with - always very responsive and willing to help. We traveled with two families and my parents so there were a lot of people to please. My favorite part of the house was the separate guest suite. This was perfect for my parents to be able to escape the mayhem of six children. The decor was beautiful, the house was clean (and I am very particular about cleanliness), and the grounds of the resort were very well maintained. Traveling with 12 people can be tough, but this house gave us plenty of space and breathing room while allowing us to still be together. The pools in the resort are a quick drive and the main pool is equipped with a bar, game room and restaurant. The drinks at the bar were delicious and a welcome addition to our trip :) There is also a water park on the premises but we did not take advantage of this, though it looked amazing. The location is perfect, as it is literally fifteen minutes from all of the major theme parks which allowed us the flexibility of taking a break in the afternoon if needed. This was an added bonus for my parents. I do recommend a nice stash of change, as the quickest route to the parks is via a toll road. The cost is .50 per trip but it was well worth it for the extra time it saved. There is also a Publix and a CVS right outside the resort for easy access to groceries or other necessities. All in all I would highly recommend this house. It truly encompassed all of the qualities we are looking for in a vacation home. We will certainly rent it again the next time we visit the Orlando area. Thanks, Doc Shea, for an amazing experience!

Five Star Experience

The property is amazing, there are two separate living areas: the main house and the casita. The main house has 3 bedrooms, living room, dining and kitchen, with upstairs family room, laundry, and 3.5 bathrooms (master suite tub is amazing). The casita has separate access (think in-law apartment) with additional family room, poker table and another bedroom with full bath. Between the two living spaces is a covered patio with grill, outdoor sofa and table for six. Located across from the clubhouse and restaurant you can walk to lunch or dinner if desired. The community can be a bit overwhelming at first, its BIG with many different areas. My only critique which is due to my own lack of research is the lack of a close pool. However, there are 5 pools on property all within 1/2 to 1.5 miles, but not really walk-able on a summer day in Florida. If you are here for the 'Orlando tourist experience OR golfing' then this IS the place. You are 10 minutes from virtually all of the major parks, 1 hour from the beach, and about 1.5 hours from Tampa parks and sports. Every day you can be someplace awesome for opening without having to get up ridiculously early. The golf course is a Jack Nicklaus special (we think one of his houses was across the street from us). Lastly - Dr. Thomas Shea - he's awesome. Proactively reaches out to coordinate arrival time, follows up shortly before expected arrival, is accessible after you check-in and responds within minutes to virtually any request. He's taken care to make sure the home is furnished with solid Pottery Barn furniture and has made sure the home is immaculate. If I were decorating it myself i'm not sure i would change anything. Great quality experience with the owner, the home, the community and the overall location. I'd go back again tomorrow...

Great Disney trip

We wanted a place in this neighborhood, since other family was staying in it, that would accept our dogs. This place gave us plenty of room four our party of six adults, one kid, and 2 dogs. We decided to give up a private pool and pool table for this location. The 19-year-olds and kid drove to the neighborhood pool/hot tub a couple times in the evenings, but I never went, so I'm not sure what it was like. We cook more than a typical family (never ate out the five days we were there, and even brought our own food to the Disney Parks), and we were a little disappointed with the condition of the pans in the kitchen. We stay at a few VRBOs every year, and this is the barest kitchen I’ve seen (only salt, not even pepper). We would have used the grill, but there was no propane. The glass kitchen table needed to be wiped down during our stay, but there was no glass cleaner under the sink. No deal-breakers, but I’m just mentioning things we didn’t think to buy at the store. I slept in the casita, and the bed was super comfortable. One of the girls used our shower once because theirs was not getting hot and didn’t drain well, but there were so many bathrooms that it wasn’t a problem. At the end of the stay, one of the girls told me there hadn’t been a pillow case on her pillow in the room with the bunk beds, but I wish she had said something, because there were pillow cases in the linen closet. I didn’t think to check something like that, or think about the fact that a kid or teenager might not look around like an adult, for those basics. There were hair dryers in the bathrooms, which is one thing I bring if I’m not sure. At the end, our mom told us that the one in the master bedroom was malfunctioning, but there were 2 in the casita bathroom, so just check that. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations. Modern, comfortable & plenty of space. Good location.

Perfect layout for multi-family

Huge house with lots of rooms and places to play and relax. Perfect layout for multi-family use and best bang for your buck. Easily meet the needs of 2-3 sets of parents and all their kids. The casita was awesome for our guests who needed some quiet and privacy with a baby while the upstairs was the ideal place for kids to have fun right off the kids bedroom. Nice decor and every detail had a feeling of grandeur. Location was ideal as well, easy access to Disney, Shopping and mid-distance to either coast of Florida. The waterpark was amazing. Couldn't top the comfort of being in a house over hotel and access to a full kitchen and both indoor/outdoor dining. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the master and ensuite, and we felt spoiled. This place truly feels like a home away from home.
