Emerald Island Resort is a prestigious gated and guarded community on Disney's doorstep. Surrounded by a conservation area, it encompasses over 300 acres with 11 wooded acres in the middle of the community. Once inside, you'll feel as if you've entered a special preserve. After a fun day at the parks (Disney is 6 miles and Universal Studios is 17 miles away), unwind in our Salt Water Jacuzzi with fun string light ambiance above or by the fire-pit reminiscing over the lifelong memories you just made! Not going to the parks? HAKUNA MATATA! Relax in our SOUTH-FACING heated pool and cook out on our grill (all free of charge with no added fees) OR chillax in the shade with your favorite drink in hand under our NEW Lanai/Outdoor roof! You may even think: "Who needs to go the park when we have such an amazing place to stay?!"

We offer TWO, private work spaces for all your virtual work and school needs. We also have an AC unit in our garage game room for all year-round enjoyment too! New in 2022 is we installed ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Plus, our gated, resort community has a gym, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, playgrounds, miniature golf, bikes to rent and a Tiki bar! As you step through the front door of this 2800-square-foot home, you're immediately drawn to the unique geometric wall design and mid-century modern decor throughout the house. Now, walk around inside, or should we say, walk back in time and “make the scene"! You’ll be "on cloud nine“ feeling pretty “hip “as you "take in the pad". This open-floor-plan living space is "retro" and “radioactive” with a glamorous flare! But never fear, there's no '50s era “boob tube“ here! You've got a 55-inch smart TV with cable and streams the new DISNEY+ to watch all the Disney shows and movies you want. We also provide a Blu-Ray DVD Player - perfect to catch up on your favorite flicks after a long, exhausting day at the parks. Or turn on some “cool sounds“ with our record player (and yes, we have some vinyl records to listen to) that's Bluetooth-enabled to play your own playlists from your devices! Plus it even plays CDs and cassette tapes. Oh, and did I mention we have high-speed Internet and central air conditioning, too?

Your teenagers won't know where to take their selfies first, in front of the modern geometric wall design, in one of the two rad hanging chairs or in front of the glowing neon sign outside! All are signature Mad Men Vacations Homes designs!

Before you know it, you’re going to hear your crew running around the house checking out the fun-themed bedrooms, all based on the Magic Kingdom which now all have ceiling fans (except one room that stays very cool all year round)! On the first floor, discover the Jungle Cruise master suite, the largest in the house! Complete with a newly renovated (2023) luxurious en suite bathroom featuring a modern free standing soaker tub, a separate shower with a rain showerhead and handheld and private toilet room. With its walk-in closet and a flat screen TV, this is the perfect space for those who don’t want to have to traipse up and down the stairs. This room also features one of TWO work spaces that we offer at Mad Men Magic Kingdom House! This is a game changer for our business travelers and couples looking for a work from home Disney getaway or staycation. This is also perfect for families that have children doing virtual school or homeschool. And of course it is a huge help for parents needing to virtual work a few days while on vacation! With ample windows and light you will be able to focus, stay organized and get your work done so you can do what you came to do, play!

Upstairs you'll find two more private master suites, both with king beds and en suite bathrooms. One is the Under the Sea - Little Mermaid room, because, as Sebastian the crab says, “Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there!” The other master suite takes its inspiration from Cinderella's Castle because, as we all know “A dream is a wish your heart makes... when you're fast asleep.”

Upstairs you'll find 1 more queen bedroom. The Space Mountain room has a bed that looks like it came off a spaceship! When you wake up from a night of restful sleep in this bed you'll be ready to say “All systems go!"

The two kids' bedrooms will truly let your little ones' imaginations run wild - as they step into the roles of princesses and pirates! The Disney Princess room features a custom-made princess castle bed, complete with a play dungeon and a carriage bed, both twin sized. The Pirates of the Caribbean room features a custom-made pirate ship bed that's full size, accompanied by an extra twin bed. Before long you'll be hearing happy voices shouting “Avast, mateys!” or singing “Let it go... let it go....” during playtime!

Back downstairs, you won’t want to “put an egg in your shoe and beat it“ here! The only place you'll want to put an egg is in one of the "pots 'N pans" in the fully equipped, open concept kitchen! This space features stainless-steel appliances, a microwave oven, keurig and drip coffee maker, toaster, mixer, and even a crock-pot!

If you have a baby, don’t worry about packing a booster seat or highchair - we’ve got you covered! We have infant/toddler strollers (2 single strollers and 1 double stroller), a crib, two pack-and-plays, an ergonomic baby carrier, white noise machine, kiddie toys, books and games. And don’t think those board games are just for kids! On a rainy day, there’s nothing like playing a board game together for creating lasting family memories! We've got a great selection!

Of course we provide a laundry room, complete with a washer and dryer! So no need to bring a change of clothes for every day – you can pack light, do a little laundry, and start each day of your vacation with fresh, clean clothes!

And let's not forget the game room! It's got a 50 inch flat-screen TV, a pool table, a shuffleboard table, and a Foosball table. There's a cool retro dining table for eating snacks or playing cards, and some nice chairs for relaxing and reading! Plus we just installed a NEW AC unit to keep it cool all year round for your enjoyment! THIS is a game changer, no pun intended!

Mad Men Magic Kingdom House is a perfect destination for families, couples, friends and business travelers! All mattresses and pillows have hypo-allergenic protective covers! Fully renovated top to bottom in the spring of 2019, there's new paint, new light fixtures, new floors and new high-end quartz countertops throughout the house, with completely updated furnishings!

Don't want to pay for your pup to go to the kennel while you're gone or pay someone to take care of him/her? No worries! We are dog friendly! Read our house rules to find out more! ($100 fee applies)

A few things to note:

• There is NO SMOKING inside the property including the game room. If you smoke we will take the entire security deposit. We have a detector to let us know if you are smoking in the house or garage game room.

• While our community has many beautiful homes and amenities to enjoy, it's important to note that the houses are in close proximity to each other, which is why we can't permit parties (and you'll appreciate that the neighbors don't!).

There is public transportation available in the Kissimmee - Orlando area on the LYNX buses. Getting to and from the parks without a car is best done with Uber or Lyft.
