Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay at 1617 Maidstone in Champions Gate. The house was the perfect size for our family group of 14 and we especially enjoyed having the pool and hot tub. The house was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated that a baby crib and high chair were part of the amenities. Calls to the property Manager were handled quickly to get the information we needed. We had one need for the maintenance team, and they responded promptly and fixed the issue. Access to the Oasis waterpark in the neighborhood is a fabulous bonus for renting in Champions Gate. We had a very good experience. Shortcomings we experienced included missing dining chairs, not enough silverware for 14-15 people, bare minimum of pots and pans for the kitchen and for towels in the bathrooms, no sheet for the baby crib, the garage was not available to use, and there were no brochures about the area nor any information on the Oasis neighborhood water park where there are planned activities each day and even a free shuttle available.

Not fit to stay in

I cannot tell you how dissapointed and disgusted I am about the home that we rented for out family vacation. I am not a picky person, but the accomidations were just not acceptable. This was our "once in a lifetime" family vacation and it is unfortunate our first couple of days were spent finding a new place to stay and shopping at target to get basic ammenities to try and feel clean in your property. When we pulled up to the home we were greeted with a dirty maxi pad sitting on the driveway among other garbage that was strewn about the fron lawn. The front door had a odor due to the garabae that was rotting in the bench. When we got inside, we did not find the property any better. Scuffed marks on the way were everywhere (I understand this is cosmetic and could have been overlooked except for the other many problems we found.) The downstairs bedroom did not have a light even hooked up to the fan. Just exposed wiring. One of the lamps didnt turn on. The bathroom didn't even have a toilet paper dispenser that was working. Just a roll of toilet paper sitting on the broken dispenser (that is a 2 dollar fix). There were other lights that also did not work. If we wanted to wash our clothes, that was not an option as the washer/dryer did not work. The grill was covered with old food and a dirty spatula, and we even paid "extra" to have that available to us. There was blood on the walls, dirty curtains, and carpet that did not look like it was clean. We went to Target to buy hand towels, soap, garbage bags. We even bought our own pillows as we were unsure, based on the quality of everything else, to sleep on. The absolute WORST part of it was that upstairs did not have any working air conditioning. Even from Minnesota, we were under the impression the house would have been air conditioned. That is where all the bedrooms were and we were unable to sleep. The property was SO BAD we actually decided to move to another home. I feel sorry for all the other guests you will continue to mislead. Many families scrape all their money together to give their children this exerience and to provide such poor quality is not only dissapointing but unacceptable.

Horrible Housekeeping & poor communication

The home was beautiful and spacious. However, the kitchen was dirty. Food crumbs in refrigerator and freezer. Hair was also in the freezer. Dirty pots and pans under counter. Dirty drinking cups and glasses in the kitchen cabinet. The cabinets had food stains on them. Dishwasher was broken Jacuzzi knob was broken Food crumbs & dirt on stairs Very high mold smell in 2 bathroom showers Trash behind master bedroom dresser One shower stall dirty with hair. Upon arrival I reached out to property management via email because we checked in very late. I never received a response. I called and spoke with someone in customer service, requested clean up and maintenance. They said they were sending someone out but they never showed up.

Great stay

I stayed with my family of 10 from July 19th-25th and had a great time. The house itself was very clean, very spacious, and about a 35 minute ride (without traffic) from the parks. The only issue I had was their trash disposal system. It consists of a trash container in the shape of a bench right outside the front door that overflows very easily and is completely dirty with flies and other insects; with a group of 10+ people including babies that trash was full all the time. I wish they had a big dumpster for people to dump their trash. At checkout if the garbage is too much you have to drive with your garbage in the trunk to the Clubhouse dumper and dispose of it there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
