Great place to stay

I was a bit nervous because I had saw some negative reviews before we arrived, but I must say our experience was great. The home was clean and spacious. Everyone had a great time and the only downfall we couldn't use the pool because it was too cold even though I paid for the heating. I would book this place again in the future.

Decent house.

The location is good, the house is very dirty, it had mice, and it has an unpleasant smell. It needs a deep cleaning, otherwise everything is fine.

Disney stay

Overall things were good with the property. Location was great: close to all of the Disney parks. We had plenty of room for all 12 of us. The only qualms we had were: The amenities were lacking. We don’t use a ton of toilet paper, but for 12 people and 3.5 baths, there should have been more than the tiny amounts in each bathroom. So be prepared to by paper towels and toilet paper if you will stay long than 3 days. Secondly, we laundered our own towels (which I don’t mind doing) but kind of didn’t like that they were washed professionally, and had an indication that they were. Just thoughts. Again, things were pleasant, but not as up to date as the pictures indicate.

Nice location, poorly maintained and managed

This property has so much potential, but unfortunately is poorly managed and the owner doesn’t seem to respond to customer concerns. The location is nice, but aside from that the property was not well maintained. The furniture was torn, stained and just dirty. The tack strips in the carpet are exposed causing many cut feet during our stay. The patio door is off track and broken…it has been reported multiple times according to comments and it is still not fixed. The property cannot be properly secured because that door won’t lock and the door is so wobbly and unstable it’s an accident waiting to happen. The air hockey table in the game room doesn’t work. The tvs are awful and the internet was unreliable. The decor in the decorated rooms are cute, but again, the lack of cleanliness doesn’t make it worth it. I had to call the management company like 5 times for various issues and while they did respond everything was just bandaid fixed. One night the smoke detector went off for no reason at 3 am. We assume the batteries may be the issue, but the property has no fire extinguishers if there had been an issue. When I asked the maintenance guy he said they were being serviced. I’m not sure how they can legally not have them on sight. I’m also not aware of an extinguisher service that takes 4 days? There are a ton of nice properties that we would revisit in Florida, but this won’t be one of them.

Don’t let the harsh reviews scare you away

Based on previous reviews, I prepared myself for the worst heading into our week-long stay at this property. Based on previous reviews, I thought I’d have to deep clean upon arrival, it’d be infested with bugs, and it was in a rough part of town. That was not the case. It’s in a gated community in great proximity to Disney and Universal. The only bugs I ever saw were dead- that means the property is being treated regularly. And to my biggest surprise, it was clean and smelled clean the whole time we were there… I didn’t have to deep clean for it to be that way. Now, is this property in brand new or like new condition? No, it is not. It has some wear. It’s more of a “Used-Good condition.” I do recommend calling the 1st for Orlando rental company with all of your questions and confirm you have filled out the proper rental paperwork and that they have received it, prior to the day you check in. Don’t submit questions through VRBO, I don’t think those messages are ever checked. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Deceiving

My family was very excited to stay at this house . The picture are absolutely amazing unfortunately that is not what we walked into . As mentioned prior the bedding did not match the picture . The layout of the livingroom and bedrooms did not match the picture. The couch was the absolute worst part . It was worn down heavily with white stains all over it . The kitchen fridge did not stay cold so we reached out to management who did nothing . Some of the TVs did not work we had to wait 2 days for a technician is come out . The game room was located in the garage with a very Nasty couch . T he lock on the front door is barely hanging on we asked for it to be fixed and of course it was not . Upon walking in the kitchen there appeared to be brown stuff all over the wall . In the bathroom downstairs located in one of the bedrooms there was fecal matter on the wall . The back screen door did not close all the way we had to set a chair in front of it . The sliding door in the Master bedroom also did not lock had to have maintenance come out and fix that . The kids bedrooms were a big disappointment definitely nothing like the pictures show. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE. Management at this house does not care . I would love to actually speak to the homeowners, I’m sure this isn’t how they would want to rent their house out .

Avoid this property at all costs! Not clean and not safe!

Run from this property! And if you’ve already booked, cancel. Do not stay here! If you prefer safety and cleanliness at all, this is not the place for you. The sliding lock on the front door was hanging on by a single screw that can easily be pulled out of the wall. The back doors to the lanai don’t lock and the back sliding door cannot be secured, which means, if an intruder wanted in, they could come right in. There is no way to actually secure any of the back doors. The “locks” literally just hang on by a single screw that constantly falls out of the wall. The ceiling fan switch in the Star Wars room shouldn’t be used at all! When it’s on, the switch makes a buzzing noise, which my husband, who is an electrician, said is likely a loose connection and could start a fire in the wall. Carpet tack strips are exposed all over the house, so you have to be very careful when walking or you’ll hurt yourself. The home is disgusting!! There is mold and mildew in every shower and the air vents in the house are all covered in dust and rust. The ceiling fan doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in months, nor the light fixtures through the house. There are marks all over the walls. And in the laundry room, you could literally wipe dust from the walls. We found a live roach in the closet where my daughter stayed, and found hair from past guests in the drawers and showers. There were several holes, giant cracks in a door that looked like they had been poorly patched, and we found a bag of onions on the back porch that looked like they’d been baking in the sun for a while. Which tells me the cleaning crew never stepped outside the house. The house is completely bare when it comes to basic staples. We checked in late Tues night, and there wasn’t even hand soap in the house. So we had no way of washing our hands after going to the bathroom. We bought hand soap, and left that for the next brave soul who winds up there. None of the bedding is what is pictured in the listing, and when we went to pull the comforter back on the bed my son was going to sleep in, we found dried snot on the inside of it. Clearly that bedding wasn’t washed after the last guest left, which made us question every other bed in the house. What bothered us the most is that we emailed the mgmt company our concerns, and never received a reply back at all. They just ignored us all week. Avoid this house, and this mgmt company! You’ll leave with nothing but frustration and an upper resp infection.

Awful and disgusting!!!

This was one of the dirtiest places that we have been - so much that we left after the first night and booked another location for the remainder of our trip. The place has a funky smell, carpet is gross, floors were sticky, upstairs tub was full of water, the master shower was full of mildew. Blankets and towels were awful and very very old. Furniture and bedding did not match the pictures. The outdoor was covered in mildew and the grill mat was disgusting. The locks on the sliders did not work and were damaged. Truly awful experience. I complained to both the property listing and VRBO. Listings like this are totally unacceptable and deceitful! If I could give a ZERO I would.

Disney/Aquatics Vacation

The house is located in a gated community about 15 to 30 minutes from the theme parks, depending on traffic. There are some rules and regulations in this community, but they seem pretty reasonable. The house is very big, so this can work for big families. It is pretty generic, though, which is how it kind of goes in the Orlando area. The hot tub does not seem to work or be hooked up, and there are not even things like coffee or sugar at the property, so be prepared to bring every single thing you need. It also seems like the house needs some updating and I could not figure out for the life of me how to make television in the living room work, which is a pain when you have an eight year old waiting for everyone to get ready to the parks. Are very experience with responses, and it seems they are attempted to any needs one might have, and that's a big plus. So, the place is okay, but I've rented better VRBO houses, including one in Tampa at which we stayed just prior to this one.

House was everything the pics showed and plenty space for my entire family (12 total) only part was the sliding doors leading to pool was off track but the doors from bedroom was perfect to pool make sure if your visting to check pool had nets in it but they did have a something to get them out

Good vacation home!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the pool is a great size. The house can use a little TLC and a deep clean, but overall the house was great for our needs.

Kissimmee visit

The property was nice, but there were some tack strips exposed and three of our children ended up getting cuts on their feet. The patio door would not work and there were bugs in the master bathtub.

Not up to standard

The property looked lovely online with great pictures and excellent descriptions of rooms etc. Nowhere near the usual standard of s VRBO listing. Dirty, unsafe, tired, not fully equipped to support 6 bedrooms(potential 12+ guests.) 3 sun loungers, 4 outdoor chairs, 2 wine glasses, 6 tumblers! Dirty towels, cutlery, bathrooms and glasses. Patio door not secured properly, lock on front door broken. Did not feel safe in the property as there was nowhere safe to store passports and valuables, I can provide pictures of all of these problems plus more. I feel totally ripped off financially on this booking. I shall be looking for compensation as this property was not up to VRBO usual letting standards.

Perfect house for large or multi families traveling together

The initial renting process was easy and the company allowed us to be flexible when flights were changed. It was a little inconvenient checking in at a different location but we figured it out after contacting the rental company. The communication was amazing. We did have a few maintenance issues that were acknowledged and it did not impact our stay. Ie: patio screen was ripped and one slider to the pool was broken. The only thing that was deeply concerning was we had our car towed after following instructions to park sideways at the end of the driveway apron. We checked to make sure we were not blocking the street or sidewalk. Car was towed at 7:30 am on Easter Sunday and you had to pay cash to release the car a few hours before needing to catch a flight. Other cars were parked exactly the same way. Seems a little shady to me. Overall, the house is great and it served our needs.

Great spot for large family

We came down with 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 2-8 and had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool at the house was great and we also enjoyed time at the community/resort pool. Only areas needing improvement is they were lacking a little on cups and silverware quantity for such a large group. Overall though location was convenient to the theme parks, Wal-Mart and a Publix and plenty of restaurants. The themes of the rooms and little Disney touches throughout the house made it magical for the kids

Perfect location

Perfect location for access to Disney property. The property had plenty of space for everyone and our kids enjoyed the game room. The carpet in the bedrooms needs to be updated due to wear but overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fun stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The AC went out on the Sunday we were there and they sent someone out right away to fix it. Everyone was comfortable. Would love to stay again!
